If we can't have some compassion for other beings who are abused and suffering from excruiating pain and being treated in a vicious manner than we deserve nothing at all in terms of anything good. When I read this I just broke down and cried...partly for the cruelty with which humans treat this planet and the other creatures that share it with us and partly out of shame for my species. I posted something off topic because I was so moved my this infomation and I hoped that some list members with compassion in their hearts might take a moment to reach out to help these lobsters...and they are not bugs! I will not mention this again.

Guest guest
Right On Tom!! Myself, I belong to the other PETA People Eating Tasty Animals :-) :-) > What does the practice of eating LIVE lobsters > have to do with cancer???? > > stick to the subject of cancer > stop wasting our time with stupid subjects > a lobster is just a giant bug. > We need info on cancer! > > this is a prime example of why people quit reading this list! Guest guest
Hi , you are absolut right. If people are treating other creatures in such a horrible, heartless and brainless cruelty like these lobsters and we are not interested (or making jokes about it) than we have really our cancer deserved. A typical example of cause and effect. pelcka

Now we have a big mess where there is a cancer plague. We know that the environment plays a huge role in cancer. Yet we continue to turn blind eyes to the problem. It has to do with respect for everything on this planet. Until we experience that, we are not connected spiritually to the universe or to our illnesses. Everything is one...we are not apart from anything we do or see or hear....or what our fathers and their fathers have done to create our current situation. What do lobsters have to do with cancer?
