Guest guest
Dear List, here I have info from a (non-English) newsletter, saying there is a PSA lowering supplement (as an add-on) available in the Netherlands. Name: Prostasol Ingredients: Serenoa repens, Pygeum, Panax pseudo-ginseng, Ganoderma Lucidum, Zingiber officinale, Scutellaria baicalensis, Urtica Dioca, Beta Sisterol, Camposterol, Quercetin. Package: 60 capsules Price: 90 Euro Company: medpro Tel. 0031-33-2867642 email: office@... To date not yet printed research results say that Prostasol lowers PSA, improves quality of life, and possibly relieves pain from metastases. Guest guest
Hi Katharina The power of serenoa repens to lower PSA has been demonstrated in the past - also on PubMed. This shows serenoa repens (saw palmetto) inducing both apoptosis and necrosis. Myristoleic Acid (AKA omega 5) is found in serenoa repens. http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/entrez/query.fcgi?cmd=Retrieve & db=pubmed & dopt=Abstra\ ct & list_uids=11304730 The dosage required is above 900 mg./day taken about 3 times per day. The cheapest source in the USA is the Saw Palmetto Harvesting Co., which produces serenoa repens for other supplement comapnies. This can become toxic if taken for more than a few weeks at this level. At about $20/mo. it looks cheap enough to give it try. http://store./sawpalmetto/sawpal320mgs.html Rick > Dear List, > > here I have info from a (non-English) newsletter, saying > there is a PSA lowering supplement (as an add-on) available in the > Netherlands. > > Name: Prostasol > > Ingredients: > Serenoa repens, > Pygeum, > Panax pseudo-ginseng, > Ganoderma Lucidum, > Zingiber officinale, > Scutellaria baicalensis, > Urtica Dioca, > Beta Sisterol, > Camposterol, > Quercetin. > Package: 60 capsules > Price: 90 Euro > > Company: > medpro > Tel. 0031-33-2867642 > email: office@m... > > To date not yet printed research results say that > Prostasol lowers PSA, improves quality of life, and possibly relieves pain > from metastases. > > Best, > Katharina > > >
