Don't give ibuprofen as it increases the rate of secondary complications. You might want to have on hand some grapefruit seed extract(dilute with a few drops in water) to spray on any areas that look like they are getting infected. That is about all I can remember from other people. <A HREF= " http://www.healthy.net/asp/templates/article.asp?PageType=Article & ID=239 " >Click here: HealthWorld Online - Integrative Medicine - Chickenpox</A> http://www.healthy.net/asp/templates/article.asp?PageType=Article & ID=

Guest guest
, Hi, I just wanted to say hello. You're not actually that far from us, we're in Danville. I also wanted to let you know that we used to take our son to Randall Neustaedter, whose practice is located in Redwood City, Ca. I don't know if there are any qualified homeopaths in the San area, but Randy's good, and there are a two great homeopaths in Palo Alto, too. Welcome to the forum... Guest guest
All I can say is Ruby had chicken pox (I think!) a few months back. She had about 20 spots on her body and no other symptoms..... Suzanne
Guest guest
Me too! i hope. the first visit didn't yield anything so tomorrow we visit the 2 other children who know have it. I have Vit C handy and propolis and mother's milk. Speaking of which...my friend called me last night asking for some as her 3 yo was complaining of an ear ache and his ear was bright red. So I brot her some, we dropped some in his ear, and within 10 minutes he was talking normally to us, said his ear didn't hurt, and the redness had decreased. She was amazed and is now " a beliver " . He's never nursed from me and we're not related. Pretty cool, huh? Laurie<Oh Visit my website to learn a little about me. Also has a preggie pic with my (then) baby(she's now a 2 yo) www.geocities.com/landes_fam/birthwarriorlauriespage.html If we're lucky we'll be dealing with chicken pox soon. I have been through this a couple of times with my girls, I would cut part of one of the legs off of an old pair of panty hose and put partially cooked oats in it, tie a knot, and then sink it in the tub with them...squeezing out the goo of the oats on them...very soothing!!!
