Guest guest
Kathi: Are you really counting the beads? This morning is our first dose of the DMSA I'm splitting the pill in half for the twins....I'm planning on eyeballing not counting. Guest guest
Tina, Well I had planned on counting the beads. My son is only getting 1 capsule a day so eyeballing x 6 doesnt seem logical. Being he had such a bad reaction the last time I'm making absolutely sure that he gets the same dose each time.(I thought I did a good job eyeballing last time) I'm hoping this one goes easier. What I dont understand is why he was fine while on DMSA, but when the drug was stopped is when he had the reactions. That is from the redistribution of the mobilized mercury that is floating around and no longer has any DMSA to latch on to. It suggests running the cycle longer to reduce that effect. Guest guest
Andy, If there was extra mercury floating around with no DMSA to latch on to, then wouldnt increasing the DMSA give the mercury something to latch on to? Or will that cause more to just float around? How would decreasing the dose of DMSA help,if apparently there wasnt enough DMSA for the mercury to latch onto in the first place? Any ideas? So after the last dose whatever amount of mercury is floating around goes and redeposits, causing the problems when you stop.
Guest guest
<< So, can the cessation of problems at the end of a session be a marker for adequate Hg removal?>> It is one sign. I'd say if you can skip a few months, chelate again and STILL not have any problems at the end you are probably there. <<Is there an alternative non-lab-test indication which can be relied upon to signals success? >> Cessation of improvement and cessation of side effects with continuing chelation, including after skipping a few months and then trying it again. Guest guest
Andy, Our son seemed better until about the 5th day off. Then he seemed more stimmy and obsessive. I think I heard someone say that happened to them. Reasons?
