Parent after parent are reporting adverse effects of vx. Result autism. You wont find much about this in the media but the Internet has not been gagged ( not yet anyway). Once you arm yourself with information regarding vaccination and are aware of ALL the facts and issues surrounding vaccination, your fear will dissipate and you will be comfortable with the decision that you make. All I say is research, research and do more research until you feel comfortable. I found my comfort level was when I was able to sit in front of a doctor calmly and explain to him my reasons for not vaccinating. I overcame every obstacle he threw at me, with him throwing his hands in the air and saying 'OK I concede, you know more about vaccination than I do!! " That was a day of victory for me. I have since tackled another two successfully and am about to embark on a campaign to 'get the big fish', but that's another story. Good luck, you are on the right road by being here. Guest guest Posted February 14, 2002 Report Share Posted February 14, 2002 Jen, All kids get sick even those that have been vaccinated, but children who have not been vaccinated tend to have a stronger immune system - fighting off things quicker than kids who have been vaccinated. illness shouldn't be causing such fear in you - its not a bad thing at all, try to relax a little - perhaps its you who should see a homeopath - and perhaps your homeopath can explain illness in a way which will calm you. I don't see kids that age discussing their vaccination status, and they certainly won't think your child is weird - more than likely the other kids will be a little envious that your son doesn't have to get jabbed with a needle every now and then.
