I have known of full blown AIDS patients to have healthy negative babies.  The

child must be born via C-section and must no be breast fed by his HIV positive

mother.  There's no need to medicate a baby up to it's first year of life.  Of

coarse tests should be runned on a regular basis to assure the baby is safe.

Thank you!

After having a baby the mother can stop taking drus or she needs to carry on

with drugs.

has the mother's antibodies. So the baby tests positive at birth. 6 months to a

year later when the baby's own immune system develops they test negative. It

does not mean the baby got cured! Do not be fooled. The baby was never positive.

It means the baby is healthy and now has its own immune system free of the

mother's antibodies. That is when a baby needs to be vaccinated not for HIV, but

for all the other known diseases we have over come.
