Guest guest
Hi Corrine, Welcome to LL. We're very glad that you're here. As for the headaches, I sometimes get them during the breathing but I'm prone to them anyway because of my allergies. I was wondering are your pah's too forceful? That could be causing them or it may be the way that your body is getting used to all the oxygen being flooded into your body. I think the headaches will cease once your body is more accustomed to the breathing. Have a great day! Breathe, Breathe, Breathe......... Guest guest
Corrine - I suffer from migraines and any and everything gives me a headache and sometimes a migraine. I take preventative meds (two prescriptions a day) and pain meds, and I found that after about week 2 or 3 of LL, my headaches were much much better. I went through a whole month without a migraine (a miracle). I hope that is what helps, and if so, I will be doing it from now till my grave! Guest guest
I, too, am " blessed " with migraines, except I have gotten to where I only have one every 4-6 months (much improved over the 2 times a month that I once had). I attribute part of that success to chiropractic adjustments of my neck & back (two years ago I went to the chiropractor every two weeks for six months. I tapered off to once a month and now I only have to go three or four times a year, usually when I've had a migraine.) However, I started getting a migraine Tuesday and out of curriosity, I did about 10-12 LL breaths, took 2 Tylenol and went to bed for about 30 minutes. When I got up, the migraine wasn't gone completely, but it was manageable and disappeared completely within a couple of hours. This is unusual, since I usually am in bed for 3-6 hours in extreme pain and nausea. I don't know that the LL breaths are responsible, but I'm going to use them again the next time I have a migraine. > Corrine - > > I suffer from migraines and any and everything gives > me a headache and sometimes a migraine. Guest guest
My headaches have been improving with the breathing. I find if I have a headache or seem to be aggravating it with the breath, it helps for me to tone down the breath. That is breathe as deeply as I can comfortably. or sometimes I space them farther apart or do them without any position, or with reflexology, especially the meaty base of the thumb which is a pain relief point. Try variations to see what works for you. Kate :~) Re: Headache > Hi Corrine, > > Welcome to LL. We're very glad that you're here. Guest guest
There seems to be a sort of fungus that goes along with this nightmare. Try looking at those places under the black light, slowly go over those areas with a qtip dipped in straight Clorox. If the areas look normal after the application of the Clorox then it was that damn fungus. I kept hitting those areas with the bleach until I didn't see it any more. It never came back. We haven't had any headaches from the RP.....try cutting back a little and see if it goes away. Everyone's body reacts differently to the same substances. It's trial and error.....we are all truly on our own. I'm so sorry for people who can't use the RP....it works so well at killing these things. Sudden headaches, especially severe headaches, are serious and can indicate a life threatening condition which could be anything from an aneurism to encephalitis. I would not delay further medical investigation and treatment. Have your doctor refer you to a neurologist at a major medical center at once. headache Hi all, I am just writing to ask any or all of you if you have been + 10 years plus and have or are experiencing sudden headaches daily, I went to my pcp and he claims it is from the virus, I don't believe it. Guest guest
You must live in the USA. They can put an man on the moon but can't care for their own people. Call your insurance company and ask them to override this MRI. Tell them what is happening to you and how urgent your situation is. There must be a way to get this covered. Do you have Medicare or Medicaid or private insurance. Your doctor might be able to motivate them as well. I would call that neurologist (because they are familiar with you) talk to his office manager and/or the doctor directly. I have found the only way to speak to the doctor himself is to make an appointment to see him. Tell the appointment scheduler it is urgent. headache Hi all, I am just writing to ask any or all of you if you have been + 10 years plus and have or are experiencing sudden headaches daily, I went to my pcp and he claims it is from the virus, I don't believe it. Guest guest
Eva V., One more thing, If you have an aneurism or swollen blood vessel in/or near your brain it is important to keep your blood pressure low until the cause is treated. Avoid stress as much as possible. A blood thinner may not help too. I cannot recommend you take an aspirin @ day. In fact if you do take aspirin stop it. If you have bleeding in your head you want it to clot asap. Aspirin will prevent clotting which will only make your situation worse. If you need something for pain take acetaminophen which is Tylenol. Drink a lot of water to help your liver and kidneys. Let us know how it goes. Call your insurance and your neurologist tomorrow early. headache Hi all, I am just writing to ask any or all of you if you have been + 10 years plus and have or are experiencing sudden headaches daily, I went to my pcp and he claims it is from the virus, I don't believe it. Guest guest
Hi Marc, It depends what is causing the nausea. You could try whole milk, not 1% or 2%, but whole milk. Plain crackers might help too, like saltines. Relaxation might also help along with not thinking about the cause or the nausea it self. What is causing it? headache > > Hi all, I am just writing to ask any or all of you if you have been + 10 years > plus and have or are experiencing sudden headaches daily, I went to my pcp and > he claims it is from the virus, I don't believe it. Guest guest
Well there you go, if you had a previous injury that can happen. How dare they say it's " the Virus " for people who are HIV+ that's their solution to everything! I had acid reflux and they blamed the virus. They wanted me to take Nexium for the rest of my life, I told them to go to Hell. I took mastic gum and apple cideer vinegar and cured it. I no longer have that problem. I'll ask to see what is good for your head problems. Can you be more specific on your injury? I would love to help you with this problem. Guest guest
Marc, if you're on ARV's you're nauseous because the ARVs are killing your good bacteria in your stomach. You have an imbalance. You need to get on probiotics, if you already are on them, then take a higher dose. This is a problem you're going to have for the rest of your life as long as you're on medications. I had that problem the 6 months I was on them. You'll have to counter act it with the probiotics until your inner stomach wall gets so damaged even the probiotics won't help you. > You must live in the USA. Guest guest
Cayenne pepper will balance the blood. If its too thin, it will thicken it; if too thick, it will thin it. It would probably take a teaspoon to do much, mixed in water, and of course you will need lots of chaser. I have no idea if this will help the headache in question... I get my headaches when I get a little dehydrated on occasion. The body needs lots of water... if you've been eating more sweets than usual the blood may have thickened, and the pressure increased to move it through the vessels. As to nausea, any form of ginger should help. Tea, gingerale, a raw slice chewed or in some water. Most likely you can rule out encephalitis. However, just as life threatening is an aneurism. Maybe if your doctor changes your diagnosis your insurance will allow an MRI based on the new diagnosis. Every diagnosis has an insurance code that corresponds with it for insurance purposes. Payment is all about the diagnosis code the doctor uses. A new code might be a whole new ball game. headache Hi all, I am just writing to ask any or all of you if you have been + 10 years plus and have or are experiencing sudden headaches daily, I went to my pcp and he claims it is from the virus, I don't believe it.
