Dear Don, don't put words in my mouth.  I never used Karri and Emery as " poster

childs " for the dissident movement but let's remember, they did put themselves

out there to be noticed by the freakin' internet as survivors of HIV who don't

take meds.  I did read a blog where Emery posted that he was taking an

alternative approach to keep himself healthy.  I can't remember exactly what he

was taking but my point is that he was doing " something. "  Ok but he's gone

now.  End of story.  Also, it has NOT been only 1 death out of 5000 that has

" brought me down. "  I have lost a cousin to AIDS and he did not take HIV meds.

My 1st boyfriend's roommate died of AIDS.  So you watch your feisty attitude

cause I got one too and frankly, it is not needed.  You can still make a point

and be nice in the process.  I don't talk to you in a nasty attitude whether I

agree with you or not and I expect the same in return.  Is that too much to ask

for?  After all,

don't we all want the best for eachother in this group?

I will say this tho about Emery:  He may have only survived 12 years after his

diagnosis but he looked great all those years.  Look on YouTube where he posted

videos a little less than a year before he died.  He looked so healthy.  No

lipodystrophy (major loss of fat in face, cheeks), no buffalo hump, no

bulged-out belly,  or skin so thin you could see his veins as you do in people

who take meds.  That's my biggest fear of the meds and that's why I haven't

taken them as of  yet.  In some ways, I think I'd rather be Emery and only

live 12 years after my diagnosis, look healthy and normal, rather than live 20+

years looking like the living dead and embarrassed to go outside because people

can see AIDS all over your face and body due to the damage and toxicity of the

drugs.

You can't be using Emery and Karri as poster childs for the dissident

movement.  Karri died of a completely different complications and Emery's post

are no where similar to mine.  Emery ignored many signs, signs that could

happen to anybody HIV+ or not.  Emery believed you could get well no matter

what, I don't believe that at all.  I believe in science outside of the realm

of HIV.  When it comes to HIV so much information was put out there and the

science is now catching up to these bastards.  They let out a public scare and

panic lose and 30 years later people are waking up.  You really need to log on

to facebook and join the house of numbers page or the rethinking AIDS group.

There you will find thousands of people from all over the world who are healthy

and living medications free.   You let one death case out of 5000 bring you

down.  When you look at the statistics of people who have died and have been on

medications the number is just

astronomical  You should be using Emery's death as an example of not to ignore

the warning signs.  I am not scared.  HIV did scare me and it did control my

life for a good while but I don't let it do that any more.  Ed left this group

because he was no longer scared and now recently .  This group helped

them in that sense and they much rather leave all the wondering 's to

figure it out for themselves here on this group.  Randall I'm sorry if I came

across too u as strong and I do give you all the credit in the world for making

this research.  I just hope you find what you're looking for.  Many of us are

just here trying to share our knowledge and your tactics on how to combat this.

Well Randall you have said it all here. Taking meds or not is a personal

decision that each of us must make. Once we get the virus we must decide what we

are going to do. Doing nothing is a decision to do nothing. We each pay the

price for our decisions. Like it or not this is true.

Only God the creator who knows about death. Emery and Karri were going to die

anyway whether they took meds or not just like all of us. Whether we take meds

or not when its time to die no one will stop that even doctors can't do that.

Let Emery and Karri's soul rest in peace. Death is all over us. In South Africa

motor vehicle accidents are claiming millions of lives every year but no one

talk about that they talk about Hiv/Aids because it suits them.

All what we should remove in our minds is fear of unknown. As for me I rather

face death than going back to meds. If i die it will be not because of quitting

meds but I would say its my time. I read the magazine about the lady from Zambia

she has never been on meds since 1985 and still alive and beautiful. We can

never stop death let's face it!

Let's continue the fight let not death scare us. People are dying in numbers

whether they Hiv Poz or not. Look at natural disasters that claims millions of

lives every time. We are all gonna die!
