Guest guest Posted March 10, 2006 Report Share Posted March 10, 2006 Yes DMSO is a great product.It was invented I believe by Dr.s in the U.S.,I lent the book to my son,don't remember the name.DMSO is an excellent agent that promotes the transfer through the skin.It will carry with it anything that it is mixed with,so some care and caution should be used when using it.There is a group that discusses it's use. It's not as cheap as "vet grade", but if I or my patients were using it, I would not want to use industrial stuff. Check www.Lab.com I hear he has some compounded with wintergreen that doesn't seem to have the same oysteriferous olfactory twang. None of the farm and feed stores, nor my health food store within an hours drive has this. I live in one of the most isolated areas in the country and certainly in the state of Florida.
