" Eight years ago at a support group I used to go to I met a guy who came from Florida. he told us he got sick with aids and was sent to a case manager at the hospital in which he was treated. when his case manager found out he was positive she gave him a one way bus ticket to new York. he said he found new York city to be overwhelming. someone there told him to go to Albany because there is good aids medical care there and not the great competition for medical care that new York city has. so he ended up in the support group I was in. is this unbelievable? Eight years ago Florida dealt with aids by sending its down and out positive people to new York. it is no wonder or surprise that aids is " eating up " the African-American people. I recently went to a conference about hiv and aging held at a local black church. there were 4 African-American pastors on the panel that spoke. one in particular kept quoting the bible and openly condemning homosexuality calling it nonsense and sin. no one on the panel disagreed and they all remained silent (like a silent approval). from the audience several women gave their encouraging approval saying " amen " . after hearing this rant of unholy b.s. I raised my hand saying " thank you for sharing that reasoning with us. now I know why aids is spreading so much through the African-American community. There is simply too much money to be made " treating " both diseases.
