My friend, do you know that before there was any HIV/AIDS medication these souls

were dropping dead like flies or half-alive,retiring from their jobs because of

the syndrome as well as thousands going to nursing homes to die-I visited

such-even those on ventilators with their eyes taped shut-unconscious BEFORE the

medicine, my friend.

Also, you can cross-reference what I am saying by reading the newspaper

articles. Many afflicted with this dreaded disease not only found relief but in

short weeks, months RETURNED to work to lead productive and happy lives.

What's more, many of these rest homes closed because of these people getting a

second lease on life. YES, these meds DO have side-effects, there is no contest

about that but when you make these broad-brushed statements, do you realize you

might be negatively affecting someone so full of fear who has to make a decision

on whether or not to go on therapy?

You should really do your research FIRST before you make comments about a

community that is trying its best to deal with the ravages of this syndrome. I

I'm a part of that group (under another user name) it is just so sad to see

every other comment on there about low testosterone, facial wasting, tooth

decay, flu, skin rashes, diarrhea etc etc etc,  These poor people on there don't

have the slightest clue on how it's the medications doing this, nothing else. 

The moderators on there all they do is talk about drugs getting approved by the

FDA and so called doctors on that group only offer the advise to " talk to your

doctor "   I'm so glad this group isn't like that.  I feel we have total control

on here.  Those poor souls are wasting their money, time, and good health.  But

there's only so much we can do.

Mister Cee,yes the medication might help them but believe I have been there for

5 years those people must be grateful they are alive but they don't live a good

life. Just imagine a 30 year old lady who cannot bear looking at herself in the

mirror because she had a shapeless body. Can she undress for a man. Since I took

ARV's I don't know how many relationships I dropped because of lack of

confidence because of my amoeba shape like body. I stop wearing trousers which

previously I liked them,guess what I don't have buttocks,I have small legs big

stomach,big breast. I always wanted to quit but had no back up I thought I'm

doing something stupid but thanks to this group who gave me information and

support. I used to have black skin like a rubbish bag but only 2 months of

quitting my skin was clearer and my colour came back. When I started cleaning

the poison which I took for 5 years my menstruation was so dark with clots, had

someone seen it you would swear that I just made a back door abortion because of

such dirty blood. It took me 6 months to have my menstruation normal. Since I

quit ted meds my blood is norma.

For me really I rather die of not taking meds than to be dead alive. Don I wish

those people can come in our group and start learning. Come to South Africa and

see how people look like is really a shame. Poor people do not have information

and they are not fortunate like me who at least got light and resources.

Where the Hell did you come from?  RESEARCH is all I have been doing.  Did you

know there has NEVER been a test specific to the HIV virus!  Since when has

giving Chemo therapy to some one FOR life been a good thing?  People who were

dying at the time were poppers users and drug addicts!  SHOW WHERE A SINGLE

VIRUS CAN BE THE CAUSE OF A HUMAN BODY BEING DEPLETED!? 

People were dying because they were damaging their bodies with Heroine, poppers,

and other drugs.  Plus they were given vaccines in the gay communities that

hadn't been tested and those had major side-effects to the point where it made

many in that community sick.  Medications have " Side-effects " because of the

chemicals they put in them.  I worked research, I worked with pharmaceutical

companies and if you were a regular member on this board and read my posts you'd

have the knowledge we all do in this forum.  So don't come here with your

Last September, I visited a friend in Los Angeles who has AIDS.  He is also a

drug addict and a sex addict.  He is almost always under the influence of

recreational drugs as well as his presecribed meds.  His diet is almost 100%

fast food; he has a venti latte every day with about a 1/4 cup of sugar. 

He drinks soda all day.  We both tested positive around the same time.  He

chose to go on meds and I did not. Not only did I refuse the meds, but I

discontinued my use of recreational drugs.  When I stopped using, my AIDS

symptoms disappeared.  When I added supplements, a good diet and ozone, my

life changed.  

 

When I arrived in LA last September, my 30 year old friend moved like an old

man.  He had the shakes and he was very weak.  His body almost seemed vacant;

he was a dead man walking.  He pissed the bed one night and the next day I told

him he needed to go to the doctor.  The gay clinic said he had pneumonia and

that he needed to be in the hospital.  I took him to the emergency room and

they admitted him. He never once told to anyone involved in his care about his

drug use.  Groups of interns would come in the room and his doctor would brief

them as to his medical situation.  Each of these interns was looking at

" AIDS. "   As far as they knew, a deadly virus was killing him.  Little did they

know.  After being in the hospital for 24 hours, he started detoxing.  In

case you don't know what that looks like, it's terrible.  He was pretty much

passed out the whole time. When he was awake, he was out of it.  He had white

shit all over his mouth

and his eye lashes were filled with dried crud.  His body jerked

involuntarily.  He looked just as you describe, Mister Cee.

 

Did it hurt me to see my friend like that?  Sure it did.  But knowing the

truth about what he was doing in his private life to make his situation worse

helped me to understand that this was his cross to bear.  He created that

situation; no one else.  Now, he was at the mercy of these ill-informed

doctors.  He allowed them to " practice " medicine on him without disclosing to

them (in my opinion) very pertinent information.  I left the room when he

received a spinal tap because it all made me feel so sick and sad.  I had

symapthy for him, but I did not identify with him.  And there I was next to him

with the same " disease " he had. 

 

I'm not saying that every situation is like this, but I think it happens more

often than we think...

I was infected in 1993 and I was diagnosed in 2001.I was told my viral load was

about 800 and my T -cells were about 900.But I wasn't sick at all.I went back in

3 months and I was all fine.My t-cells were over a 1200 and no viral load.I have

never done drugs and have nothing to deserve this and have always lived a

healthy life style.I just happened to be married to some one who had it and

FORGOT to tell me about it. He died from pnemonia.I have never had to take drugs

and I have never been offered any.I have never even had a headache from this .I

just went this month and My t-cells are still over 1200 and no viral load.So I

am just saying that just because THEY say you have something if you take care of

your self and live a healthy life you may just not be bothered by it.Just

saying. MY husband smoked alot and ate terrible and look were he is now.I am

still healthy and happy and I have been dealing with this for over 18 yrs. now.I

Thank you a for sharing your story ... I have high T cell also about 1200 to

1575 and always been healthy ....just eating right and living healthy .....
