Guest guest
Load of **** hi all, some may remember that I have been banging on about this issue for a while. A couple of months ago I had two VL tests from the same day that came back with 15,700 and 78,900 with different log values too. Yesterday I got back the results of a similar experiment plus the cd4 count (taken on the same morning and on different labs.) This time had as a result, lab 1, VL 13900 (log 4,14), CD4 81 (5%) (this is the lab where I had 78,9K before lab 2, VL 136000 (log 5,1), CD4 111 (8,5%) (from a third lab) yes, 13K and 136K... Any comments anyone? All I can think of is WT#!!? Thank you! Saludos, Ps, If anyone is interested in more details, let me know. PPs, Some may say, well, why do you bother giving blood to a lab, let alone take the ARVs... It happens that at this point in time I feel better do this, and I am probably not strong enough yet. And having these " scary " test results is a way to reasure me. It is in fact a good resut as far as I am concerned.
Guest guest
Yes those values can differ from day to day. When I go get lab work done, I have to wait 2 weeks to schedule my follow up which i think is stupid. But that's the system is. Thank you for sharing . Guest guest
, Yes results can differ that much. When the T cell test first came out researchers were surprised to see that T cells can change multiple times during the day in response to stimuli like stress, aggravation, almost anything. T cells go up and down through out the day by as much as several hundred. Viral load can do the same. I bet the two tests correlate, though I have not read about this. The results you got were normal. more on the viral load experiment cures for AIDS , AIDSsoc Date: Thursday, July 14, 2011, 2:55 PM Load of **** hi all, some may remember that I have been banging on about this issue for a while. Guest guest
Hellos, thanks for your comments, Marc, I am not sick and didn´t get sick, maybe I´ve been having little sleep. The point about these values is that they were obtained within 40 minutes of each other. Nevermind if the numbers are " high " or low, or reflect health or risk, but the fact that they are so different.. Saludos,
Guest guest
Don , You could ask your doctor to write on the lab script " copy to patient " . That way when the lab mails your doctor his copy they will mail you one too. You would have your results in a week that way. Some doctors who are patient advocates will do it, some who are uncooperative won't. You should always get a copy of your labs from your doctor each time they are done. more on the viral load experiment cures for AIDS , AIDSsoc Date: Thursday, July 14, 2011, 2:55 PM Load of **** hi all, some may remember that I have been banging on about this issue for a while.
