Read More. US Guidelines for treating HIV get updated. The federal Guidelines for treating HIV were updated on January 10, 2011. The revisions are mostly small changes to using certain HIV meds, CD4 counts and viral load test results. Other changes include treating people with hepatitis B or TB. Read more. Get the guidelines Cautionary recall of swabs used for Fuzeon and Pegasys announced Alcohol swabs co-packaged with the HIV drug Fuzeon and the HCV drug Pegasys, as well as other injected prescriptions, may be contaminated with Bacillus cereus.
