Guest guest
you would possibly be better off directing your concerns re the meds to Thebody.com an orthodox site that answers questions of med side effects. The antibody tests are non- specific and do not indicate ' HIV' infection. This is because the proteins used in the tests that are presumed to be viral are demonstrably cellular. More importantly the performance of these tests has never been validated by reference to the gold standard of isolated virus. Viral load tests are so unreliable, so non specific, that they are not even permitted for screening blood, let alone for diagnosing or confirming HIV infection. The viral load test merely copies and amplifies RNA assumed, but never actually proven to be viral. Shingles can be nasty, my own severe case 2 years ago had me laid up for 2 months, I was told it was caused by immune deficiency, cd4 28 and viral load some crazy number, Today im fit and healthy, not on any meds. But I have changed my lifestyle a bit, and try to take care of my health by natural means. ________________________________ From: Foros <juanforos11@...> cures for AIDS Sent: Sun, 30 January, 2011 5:20:17 AM Subject: weird test results Hi all A quick question. I am currently taking ARVs : ( I am feeling fine and all is good, but was having some effects that prompted my doctor to change my medications. I was on Kaletra, Abacavir, AZT and now I am on Truvada, Efavirenz (Sustiva), Abacavir My viral load was undetectable but after a month and a half on the new scheme I re tested and my VL gave 113,000 And I am feeling even better than I was before... That seems extremely weird to me. And far from worrying I am just wondering wtf... The only thing I can think of is that in between I had a shingles infection on my chest and back. Maybe THAT triggered such a VL count? but how on earth could herpes come out on an HIV VL test! Well, that´s the point, the VL test is useless... but... don´t know, just scratching my head... Saludos y thank you for comments!

Guest guest
Hola como estas? Me da mucho gusto verte aqui en este foro. De que parte del Mundo eres? Me imagino que hablas español si no disculpa! jaja. gave you a good reply and I would take his advise and direct that question to that website. As far as the Shingles, those can be triggered through stress. I know I stressed out a few months ago when I lost my job and that got me a case of the Shingles. They can blame it on the HIV but Shingles are very common and they are triggered by the same virus that triggers chicken pox. It's the HPV virus that also causes herpes. HPV is a virus we all have but it goes dormant in our nerve endings around the spinal cord. That's is why when we get the shingles we mainly get them on our back and stomach area. Believe it or not I was able to get rid of them in 1 week. Some people have them for weeks and even months. But I believe with all the natural medicines I have build a strong immune system and I was treat and illness I have naturally. For example, L-Lysine, B-Complex, Selenium and Fish oil kicked that out of my system pretty quickly. Plus adding Apple Cidar Vinegar to the trouble area really heals them up and reduces the pain drastically. But back to HIV like said viral load are very unreliable. And like you said they are useless. Herpes, Flu, any viral property will be picked up on a viral load test. Even doctors will admit that a flu vaccine or Hepatitis Vaccine can throw off and HIV test and a Viral load test. Healthy people can also have a viral load. I know my friend who has been HIV positive for 7 years now isn't on ARV's and he has no viral load. He and I take the same supplements and follow the same regimen. What's important is how you feel and how you take care of yourself. Doctors are going to push meds on you no matter what. Keep us updated.
