"I really didn't want to ask for ALS assistance, because I knew that I would be treated like this, and because my allergy list states that I have Post Traumatic Stress secondary to Attempted Homicide.... that the PTS would be blamed for my inability to breathe. Even though I wasn't hyperventilating! Or showing any of the other "typical" signs & symptoms of this being an "Anxiety Attack"!"

I do understand Anne, no one took me seriously when I was feeling faint and constantly thirsty yet I was extremely anemic. But hon, chest pains etc.. its very serious so please put the stubborn attitude away and listen to common sense. Call 911. Before you were a paramedic you were a human. Please value your life and get the help you need. *hugs* Wishing you all the very best,Aisha.

I

am finally holding my own. It just took WAY TOO many medications

to break the reaction and get me to where I am now! I am finally

breathing without having to fight for my next breath!!

My

chest hurting wasn't really like "chest pain" from it being cardiac.

It was due to my allergies, and how hard I was having to fight to breathe!

Because the reaction was so severe it had gone down into my lungs.

I do not have asthma, my allergies effect my upper airway, so by the time

they are effecting my lower airway... I am done SCREWED! Usually

needing major ALS intervention, intubation, and ICU admission! But

I guess I am as tough or tougher than I thought I was! Hey, I made

it through an attempted homicide, I guess I can make it through a few drug

allergies!!!

I

am doing pretty good, I am hungry which is normally a good sign!!

Wishing

you all the very best,

Aisha.

Thanks

for the message, it means a lot! I hope you are having a good night

/ day. It is currently 3:45 am here in Minnesota. Having some

homemade chili, and then praying for sleep before this starts all over

again!

Love

Always,

Anne

I was wondering the same thing, where is everybody?

We had a beautiful Easter Sunday. We are also out for Spring Break. We are

taking it easy the first part of the week, and then heading to Callaway

Gardens in Georgia for the last part of the week, spending some time there

with my husband's family.

The weather today is also gorgeous, I am doing laundry and cleaning, getting

us ready to go to Georgia. The girls are outside playing. is trying

to learn to ride her 2-wheeler bike. We started yesterday, and are taking

it in short spurts. It will take awhile, but I think she will do fine.

By the way, for the last 3 weeks of school leading up to spring break,

had 14 out of 15 good days at school behavior wise. She gets 5 behavior

grades a day, either a G for great, A for average, or U for unsatisfactory.

And she knows what she wants to get. In those 15 days, she had 75 behavior

grade. 74 were either a G or A (fery few A, mainly G), and only 1 U. This

is wonderful for her!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! She still is talking about how

good she is doing in school. And her interim report card was also good for

her academics. We are keeping our fingers crossed, and toes for that

matter, for the rest of the school year.

I'm here. Kids are cranky and sick. So I'm taking the time to enjoy the few

quiet moments that I have to steal away for myself today. I'll be watching Dr.

Phil at 3.

Judi, I hope the kids feel better soon.

Also, from NYC, do you know anything about the singer Luther Vandross?

I know he is in an Upper East side Manhattan hospital. Any idea on which

one? He had a bad stroke in his home Wednesday. He just turned 52 Sunday.

Just asking because my sister wanted to know. So anyone from NY, if you have

any info on which hospital let me know. I posted to because she is the

only one I remember that lives in NY.

Barney.... ahhh.... well good thing for me I have two TV's... one for Jordan and

one for me. She's been taught how to use the VCR so I don't have to run in

there and change a tape.

Possibly many possible reasons for this - we could discuss them :-)

The weekend

Everyone has run out of conversation

Everyone is deep in thought

People are busy with other stuff

etc

please feel free to add more :-)

Sandalwood is used as a flavoring in India, along with Vetiver and a host of

flowers. I personally would like to try orange flower water in vodka, maybe

with a little blue curacao or parfait amour. A lilac martini!

>

I have never taken sandalwood hydrosol internally....It does smell nice

though.

I love jasmine grandiflorum and tuberose hydrosol.......maybe add a little

alba rose hydrosol.....

oh do we need to add the gin?

I love the idea of a lilac martini.....there is apple, lemon, etc. now

flower martini's......

A flowery drunk.

I wonder what the hangover looks like from that.......purple haze......:-)

Yes it is the beginning of a long weekend...with Columbus Day on Monday.

Cheers!

Did you see where they interviewed Mike on how he stays at so many hotels and how hotel rooms are really DIRTY, even though they look clean. He said the first thing he does when he gets into a hotel room, is take the bed spread off of the bed and he throws it into the corner of the room.
