Guest guest
There are alot of good points that I've heard in the last few email exchanges. Â Doug, you know I like you and all and we all understand that you are a believer in western medicine wholeheartedly. Â We also know that you are for HIV meds all the way. Â My thing is this: Â It should also be RESPECTED that the PURPOSE of this group is for those who want to try alternative approaches to dealing with their health. Â When you say " I don't know what the other guys will tell you... " Well of course, because of the nature of this group, the " other guys " will tell you ALTERNATIVE approaches which is what this group is all about. I feel and I'm sure many others do as well, that if you want to push the concept of HIV meds and other pharmaceutical approaches, that you should message that person in a private email. Â If they want to continue with your approach (which is totally NOT what this group is about), then they can do that with you in private email exchanges. Â Doug, maybe you think we're all nuts for not taking the drugs, and we possibly could be, but all I think we ask is to be respected as to the nature and purpose of this group. Â There are other where you can go that actually support and advise the use of antivirals and other pharmaceutical drugs. Â There are people in those groups that actually WANT to hear about modern medicine and how to combat HIV/AIDS with western medicine. Â In this group- we don't. Â Between the two, one may even find ways to combine the two different worlds. Marc, I suppose I should have been dead by now as well. Â Back in '06, the only time I allowed my blood to be taken as I lay there sick, the doctor told me that my counts were very low and that I was not far from death. Â If I had gone to an HIV clinic back then, I'm pretty damn certain that they would've advised me to go on meds right away! Â 4 years later, yes I do have upper respiratory issues, but I have managed to keep them at bay using alternative approaches and if it weren't for what I've found, which I make at home myself, I feel as tho I would either be dead, or not able to function whatsoever. Â I am still here, alive, and making my way back to wellness without HIV meds 4 years later after that doctor said I needed to go on treatment and FAST. Â I look great and my biggest issue is depression but that's from a past abusive relationship. Â Going on meds is a personal choice, it is and the virus acts differently within all of us. Â You have to know your body, know what your body is telling you, do your research, and follow your intuition. Â Never do anything just because someone scares you to death (literally) or because you feel pressured. Â It's your body, your life, and no matter what, I believe when God says your time is up, it will be up. Â There are no accidents. Â We are all going to die of something and who says you're gonna die of AIDS? Â Who says you won't be here in 3 years? Â Bullshit. Â I bet you anything my health issues have been worse than yours and I have found a way to live and keep things in check. Â Sorry to make this so long! Â I just think people here should be respected for the REASON they come here whether the mainstream thinks we're crazy or not. Â We really don't give a damn! Â If we fill we aren't get benefit from our natural treatments or from the alternative information in this group, we can always join a mainstream HIV group and get our asses on meds if it comes to that. Â This is the group and here we discuss alternative ways to live with HIV. Â Hate it or love it, but that's what this group is about. Guest guest
Marc, I have never been on meds.  I have been poz 4 years now.  I have no rashes on my body.  Only problems I have are upper respiratory issues (ears and sinuses) but I had these problems long before I became positive.  I was exposed to a huge amount of black mold in a place I was living in 2002.  The doctor said that the mold caused a fungus problem in my body and that's why the antibiotics he gave never worked.  I take colloidal silver to keep the symptoms at bay.  I do not know if I proved the doctors wrong but I do know that in 06, I was told that my counts were very low and that I was in trouble.  Today, even tho I suffer with chronic sinus and ear infections, my health is better overall than it was in 2002 when I was first exposed to the black mold and that was long before I was positive.  I give thanks to the colloidal silver for making this happen and of course being removed from the horrible living condition with the mold.  I was also under alot of stress in a relationship and it seems that the more time goes by that I get over that stress, the better I am getting. Randall > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > From: <luvtheozone@...> > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > Subject: Historic AIDS photos > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > cures for AIDS > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > Date: Wednesday, July 28, 2010, 12:59 PM > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > I was just on and ran across these photos. Guest guest
I tend to be a more patient oriented type. I love all of the alternitive information this group gives me. U like hearing the pros and cons of everything. But when it comes down to it and my health I want all options on the table. The idea of drugs scare me to death and I can tell you it will be my last alternitive. But I do want the meds in my arsenal and I don't want big pharma to stop with its research. u am starting to believe the numbers are pretty worthless. I think if we had an HIV meter like diabetics those numbers would fluctuate greatly during the day. numbers are just a tool. Guest guest
I too have never been on meds. What seems to work best for me is the MMS. I also bath in 1/2 teaspoon of pool shock in he tub about once a month. I do a dropper of olive leaf extract twice a day and catspaw once a day. Neem oil is great for cuts or anything else affecting my skin. Silver seems to help with coldsores or bleeding gums. I'm sporatic with vitimans and minerals. I have bottles and don't seem o take them in any order. Exercise and a diet low in sugar fatty meats and avoiding processed food as much as possible. Guest guest
Thank you Doug, The doctor prescribed Valacyclovir 1gm three times a day, meloxicam 15 mg once a day, Gabapentin 300 mg three times a day (which I don't know why because I read it and it is for epilesy attacks) and the Hydro codone/apap 10mg/500 one pill twice a day. I am still in a lot of pain. I never had this before, I am scare to be like this for a month. I hope I get well soon. I have a friend that is a nurse and recommended me to take B complex in liquid to help my immune system. Until later I can't sit for a long time due to the pain. I still wonder how I got it. Love, Live, and Laugh ________________________________ From: DOUG MAN <dougman1@...> cures for AIDS Sent: Fri, July 30, 2010 9:05:29 PM Subject: Re: Historic AIDS photos Eva, I do not know what the guys here will tell you. The treatment for shingles is Valtrex, Famvir, or Acyclovir. They are all the same medicine with slight variations that make them absorb better in the body. The best absorbed is Famvir. That is why the dose for Famvir is twice @ day. The dose for Valtrex is 3 times @ day, while the dose for Acyclovir is 5 times @ day. For the pain that goes along with shingles I recommend Ibuprophen, unless you want to get into narcotic pain meds your doctor can prescribe. The standard dose is 400mg (two pills). I had a neurologist tell me you can safely take up to 800mg (four pills) at once but only 3 times @ day. For extreme pain, like shingles might give, I would say try the two pills and if it still hurts bad take another two. BTW, it takes one to two MONTHS to recover from shingles. In severe cases the body pains can linger for 4 to 5 months. Good luck. Shingles is an autoimmune disorder that often is one of the first indications something is wrong with the immune system. When I tested positive for HIV my doctor was not surprised because I had chronically swollen glands and I had a bought of shingles. Those two things together told him something was wrong with my immune system. Guest guest
The Gabapentin is to calm you down. It is used to treat epilepsy, but also has a sedating effect which makes it easier to deal with pain. Any tranquilizer will do the same thing. The real pain medicine is the Hydrocodone ( it contains codeine) which is a narcotic pain reliever. Be care full. The codeine will make you constipated. You should take extra fiber with it. If you still have pain and it sounds like you do. You can take Ibuprophen while taking the Hydrocodone. Take only 400mg (two pills, the recommended dose) about 4 hours after you take the Hydro. It will help. Historic AIDS photos > > > cures for AIDS > > > Date: Wednesday, July 28, 2010, 12:59 PM > > > > > > > > > > > > I was just on and ran across these photos. Guest guest
I don't ever check my numbers. Â It won't do any good at this point anyway cause I don't plan on taking meds anytime soon. Â It would only create more stress in my life and right now I don't need it. Â Call it denial, stupidity, or whatever .... my choice for now. Guest guest
I felt very nausea and giddy today 7th day of medication. Wonder if I should give up ? I can't sleep while on meds too.. I was told ozone therapy is effective in reducing viral loads Side effects of meds include nerves damage. Does it damage mental nerves as well?! Guest guest
Ok, you have made some valid arguments and give insightful arguments but what you're saying now is plain stupid! Grow the fuck up and unless you have had personal experience with Ozone to call it bullshit don't be trashing something that has really helped members like myself get their lives back on track. New members come here seeking help and vital information they don't need to see this garbage coming from skeptical individual. I say it's about time you consider joining other groups where you can preach and push your cause. > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > From: <luvtheozone@...> > > > > > > > > > > > Subject: Historic AIDS photos > > > > > > > > > > > cures for AIDS > > > > > > > > > > > Date: Wednesday, July 28, 2010, 12:59 PM > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > I was just on and ran across these photos.
