Well at this point the only thing I can share with you is that I was once on

Atripla and I just stopped it from one day to the next and had no problems what

so ever.  In fact I felt to much better after I did.  I started taking immune

boosters like Cat's claw and Pau D'Arco for immune and anti Viral and for the

lymph nodes you can take Essiac (aka Ojibwa Formula) to cleanse your lymph

nodes.  It they do swell up constantly you should invest on a Rebounder so the

fluids won't settle and cause your lymph nodes to swell.  Take probiotics no

matter what you decide to do.  If you're on Atripla right now you need to do

that.  Atripla kills the good bacteria in your system.  That's why you fatigue

and have stomach and boweI problems.  I too have also heard of Fulvic Acid and

Humic.  If you do decide to try it please keep us up to date with the

results.  I just for done with the Hydrogen Peroxide Therapy or the 35% food

grade hydrogen peroxide therapy

you mentioned and although it did raise the T-Cell and gave me energy it wasn't

Hi Donnell, I'm happy to hear that your swollen glands went down.  I have had

swollen glands for 4 years now and have not opted to take antivirals.  I would

like to ask you how has your experience been while taking Atripla?  Did you

notice any side effects or any other noticable physical changes?  I want my

swollen glands to go down so bad but afraid of the drugs.  Thanks.

Thanks Don. I'm looking at alot of options. Ozone is at the top but expensive.

So far I have not found that cure either only ways to control it. How long did

you take Atripla before you stopped using it?  I was also taking probiotics but

stopped last week. I'm goin to start back taking them tonight and B12. Do you

have problems with your glands sometimes?

The Atripla is not that bad. I get drowsy if I'm awake at night when i take

them but that's about it. My glands did come down alot but not back to normal

yet. My doctor is still monitoring my response to the medicine. No notice

physical changes. I still look the same. The meds are alot better than they

where in the past. No one can tell I have the virus so the medicine is doing

alot of good. What I don't like are the werd dreams, sometimes I sweat at

night and bowl moment is more frequent.

I was on Atripla for about 14 months give or take.   Some people have reported

they felt horrible after dropping Atripla.  They claim that it was an

addictive drug to them.  I didn't have any withdraw symptoms what so ever.  I

have never had any glad problems but I know of people on other groups who have

an their solution has always been to rebound or extense cardio vascular

exercise.

2010...Are you from the Future?  LOL JK I'm sure you meant to say 2009.  I

used to hate the trippy dreams when I was on Atripla.  The bowel movements you

can get under control with Probiotics like I said.  I use a brand called PB8

it's packed with 14 billion good bacterias per capsule.

Extensive cardio didn't work for me.  I'm talking 3-4 miles five days a week.

 I had been doing this before they were swollen and 3 1/2 years after they were

swollen.  I just recently stopped walking so much as I was getting too skinny

by not consuming enough calories and not doing any weight training.  I did

notice while doing extensive cardio that the glands were not " as swollen, " but

they never went all the way down.  I have not tried rebounding.  Someone else

told me that the meds will shrink your swollen glands.  I've also read sites

that suggest why would you want to shrink your glands as they are doing their

job to protect you.  Well, the answer is easy.  They are noticeable and it can

be embarrassing.

Rebounding should work on the swollen lymph.  I have never had them swollen but

I'm sure the rebounding I do once in a while keeps them normal.

Humic and Fulvic acid. I'm thinking about stopping the Atripla and using Humic

and Fulvic Acid instead. Has anyone had success with these products after

discontinuing antiviral medicine? I have google them and found no bad reviews. 

I'm scared about stopping the medcine do to the fact my doctor thinks I may

build up a resistance or glands will re-enlarge. I don't smoke or drink and

exercise often.  If someone has used these products or any other natural

treatments with success olease let me know.

Rebounding should work on the swollen lymph.  I have never had them swollen but

I'm sure the rebounding I do once in a while keeps them normal.

I stopped using meds for many reasons.  For one, I didn't like the side

effects.  Second of all I started working at a Clinical Research place.  I

heard from a co-worker that an investigational study once cured a subject from

Type 1 diabetes.  I got excited and asked when  the cure was going to get FDA

approval and everyone laughed at me and told me pharmaceutical companies are not

interested in " cures " the study was stopped and canceled immediately after the

patient was cured.  So I began to question alternate methods besides my mother

is diabetic an her kidneys have really been damaged by Diabetic drugs.  Now I

have on many natural Kidney function and for diabetes and her health is coming

back.  I don't feel so helpless anymore in helping people.  I refused to

believe that people have to resort to these poisons for the rest of their

lives.  Doctors are liars!  you can live without these dumb meds.

Glands that are swollen big enough to be seen can also be painful and

restrictive of movement. The HIV meds do not make the glands go down. They

suppress the virus so that your own immune system can catch up with the damage

the virus has done. This is what allows the glands to go down. In essence the

meds allow the body to heal it self.

The glands we are talking about are lymph glands. When there is an infection in

the body one of the immune responses is to pass dead cells into the lymph system

to help rid the body of dead cells. This is a natural and healthy response to

any infection. In the case of HIV the body is constantly fighting and killing

cells, mostly infected T cells. This constant battle with infection causes the

lymph glands to swell in response to the increased load of dead cells they have

to remove from the body. In the case of extreme infection it is possible for the

lymph glands to swell so much they are visible, and will appear as a bump under

the skin. They are most visible on the neck just under the jaw and in the arm

pits, although lymph glands are in other places in the body as well and can also

Randall, what your body is telling you is that something is very wrong. It is

under attach. If your glands are swollen chronically for 3 1/2 years and are now

swollen to the point that they are visible you should be on antiviral treatment.

As much as you do not want it, your body is telling you it needs it. If you had

a normal infection a doctor would give you an antibiotic until your glands went

down. HIV is not a normal infection. Non-the-less it is an infection and your

I spent $300 on humic and fulvic acids after someone on here spoke so highly of

them last November.  Honestly, I don't think they did a whole lot for me.  I

certainly didn't get a healing reaction from them like the literature

suggests.  Also, a cancer doctor with a book about natural remedies wrote a

chapter on the acids and reported that they are useless.  They are expensive

and I didn't notice a difference.
