when to start taking medicines

hi i am 23yrs old male from india

i had sex on 27 feb2006 my condom break of.after week i had sore

throat that is still there for 5 weeks.i also have fever that comes

and go.i have night sweats.i took antibiotics but my sore throat was

not effected.then i also have infection on my penis.white covering on

penis top.please tell if i am hiv+ then after how long should i wait

before starting medication.what if i take no medication for first 2or3

years.i will be very thankful to you.also plz tell how long am i

supossed to live with and without medication.
