Hi -

I don't know all the details, but I plan to find out. It is my

understanding that this is not a duty shared by other classes - it is

only resource and special ed kids. I am assuming that they have the

permission of the families, but every child I saw came from a low

income or socio/economic background. Since they do pay them they

must have parent's permission don't you think? This is not during

the lunch time like when the other kids are in the lunchroom. Last

lunch is over at 1:30 and the kids came in later. They didn't do the

really difficult things. They were windexing windows and putting

chairs back down from the tabletops and moving things around. My

daughter in the 6th grade has never had to do any of these things.

She attends class which is what I think the others should be doing.

By the way, I am . Nina is my 2 year old daughter.

I appreciate the input.
