Guest guest
heres a new one on me. we had to take ben (16ds) for a hepatitis b shot. it wasnt required when he was in the other school district but since they consider him a new student in his new district, it was required. the deal is, he has been acting terribly since the day after getting the shot. he has not had a good day at school all week. we are seeing major behavior problems. we called the health dept and they said in a very small percentage, this could be a side effect. leave it to us to once again beat the odds. lol. anyway, has anyone else had this same situation? just curious to see if and when it may subside. btw, the answer to that trivia question about las vegas, the hardest thing to find in la more than anywhere else in the country is (ready?) a telephone number. seems they have the hightest rate of unlisteds. i never would of gotten that one. the good news is they decided to donate the over $600 to the wtc relief fund and the person that on recd a nice little package. well, thanks once again, guys. kerrie ps we can have the other two shots in the series waived if we get a note from the doc. i just wanted to check around before me made that decision. and, he tolerated the shot well. pain tolerance is sky high!! Guest guest
This is a new required vaccination, along with varicella, (chicken pox). They are scheduling all the fourth graders in our school for the three-shot series, since you are supposed to have it completed by your twelfth birthday.
