Guest guest
Speaking of re-introductions...it seems like a while to me (probably cause I don't do the hard work compiling it ) of getting the family list. Anyway, My name is Gail and I am a single parent to Theodore, I call him Ted. He is 10 and has had open heart surgery 5 years ago. Ted wears glasses for strabismis <sp?> and is on a daily dose of synthroid for hypothyroidism. He is way into puberty by 5 years advance bone age which btw has nothing to do with Trisomy 21. He is a wonderful kid http://www.emandan.freeserve.co.uk/ted.htm

Guest guest
Hi , Welcome to the group. This is a great place to ask questions, share stories and occasionally gripe...which we all do! I do remember that first year as being a blur. My son (7, ds) had heart surgery too, and then ear tubes, RSV, pnuemonia..it was tough. I wish I'd had this group then! Again, welcome R. Mom to (7, ds) and Grace (4) > This whole year has been a big blur. I'm glad I found a group of > parents that I can share my concerns with. As I type this, he is in the kitchen making green eggs and ham with my 18 year old son! I think they burned one or two They are in there laughing and repeating lines from Green Eggs and Ham. is Sam for the moment. I look forward to hearing more Kaitlyn and Jake stories in the future! Guest guest
<<And they both like to drive there mothers nuts!!!! LOL>> Oh yea! I don't have a car and my mom drives me around on errands...well, I was just going to jump out and drop off Ted's glasses...THAT HE BROKE hehe..by fussing with them, and said I'll be right back. Well, Ted wanted to come out of the car I guess and did. My mom has a 2 door and he is trapped in the back but still managed, lickety split to move the seat and open the door and run across the parking lot where cars drive and go into a clothing store. He ran into the dressing room and was trying on clothes and ripping off the tags. He can't stand tags on anything! LOL My mom didn't go right in after him...thinking I'd be right out and wonder where they both went. By the time she decided to go in after him... " What if there was a back door?!!! I was out and really wondering what happened when I didn't see them. oh boy! My mom did not like what he did.
