Hi :)

Today was 50's day at school. Now this means the kids have been in school 50

days and to celebrate all 3rd graders dressed in an appropriate 50's attire,

presented 2 facts about the 50's era and brought in 50 items (Sara's brought

in 50 huge gumballs)

Mom and I spent all day Sunday and me alone Monday making Sara's bright pink

poodle skirt. Last night Sara could barely sleep with the anticipation of the

next day lol For a week in gym, they practice the 50s dance steps to have a

sock hop today. All of the parents were invited and I was there with the

camcorder and digital camera Heehee PICS will be added to Upsndowns site

tomorrow :)

I had a ball watching Sara beebop with her friends. Sara pulled (her

3rd grade friend-ds) out onto the dance floor and I have never seen two girls

having so much fun. Funny how neither one of them are bashful when dancing

lol or were they dancing to my camera Heehee The kids there were great and no

one acted like Sara and didn't belong. I got a lot of ooooohs and

aaaaahs from the typical Mom group but I expected that. I must say Sara was

the cutest :)

I can't believe I got so worked up for this 1 hour program. I spent all

morning Monday shopping for a scarf, to tie into Sara's long ponytail lol Oh

well, with her as my youngest child we make a hoopla out of everything lol

Waiting for the next event :)

Kathy mom to Sara 9..........Ally you would have been proud of Sara's dancing

skills :)
