Guest guest Posted September 29, 2001 Report Share Posted September 29, 2001 We had our county fair this Aug. My kids and group enter allot of plants vegetables, and cut flowers in the fair. We did some woodworking and crafty stuff. My eldest entered a stamped patterned leather belt. We went to see all the different 4h groups who entered animals... Cows,horses, ,pigs,rabbits,chickens and dogs. especially likes the dog obedience and the dog dressing contests. He just loves the dogs in thier costumes at the dressing contest. I have heard that our Erie county far is the largest in the country and that is mainly due to the farmers and the 4h participation. We have lots of fun and always spend one day riding all the fast rides which as the this year still did not do and always bailed at the last minute. LOl This year he claimed he wanted to ride some rides but would not get on them. In past years he would just say no so maybe next he will try some.
