We gave peace a chance in each of the cases I put out there. We gave peace a

chance by not going in and blowing them all to kingdom come when they did

each unspeakable terroristic attack. If I had my way, we would have

disintegrated them years ago, and if I have to go back to active duty to

secure our freedom as well as the freedom of our children, I will. I fear

death in combat, but not near as much as I fear something happening to my

children, who have nothing to do with this. Much like the children on the

planes that crashed, or the innocents in the buildings.

You know, it's my personal belief that we have turned the other cheek so many

times, our eyes are swollen shut from being slapped. We need to clear our

eyes out and stand proud and tall again...

Intelligence dept's that they are unable to effectively do their jobs.

I agree that more funds need to go to beefing up our intelligence but they

also need more power take the necessary steps to obliterate these animals.

Also, more has to be done about the US " open door " policy. I know that many

will disagree with me but times have changed so much that we need to heavily

restrict those wishing to enter our great country. These terrorists got their

education and training here and to me that is the most sickening thing I can

imagine.

As far as diverting funds from NYC all you need to do is go downtown and

you will rethink that statement. This has hit so close to home for our

family that I cannot think of a better way to spend the taxpayers money.

I know that all America has been hit hard but you can not imagine the

effect it has on us so close to ground zero

If you saw NYC, the financial district of the world, the entertainment

district of the world, you wouldnt feel so badly about giving us money to re-

build. I am sure the govt is getting money to beef up " intelligence " .

I am resending my post from this morning so that no one on this list thinks I

felt bad that NYC was getting money to rebuild. I clearly stated that the

money should have been used BEFORE this tragedy, not denied to NYC now.

I think the trouble here is that we cannot find " them " in one particular

country. So what do we do? Obliterate many, many innocent people because

these idiots are " possibly " in their country? I think justice, in this case,

is going to be very, very difficult to administer. It would be so much

easier if these terrorist cells weren't scattered all over the world.

Maybe the US govt should have considered putting the millions of dollars they

are giving NYC to clean up this tragedy into beefing up intelligence and

thwarting these jerks from entering OUR country, OUR flight schools, and OUR

lives before something like this happened.

I feel so much anger about what has been done to us, but more so because I

feel frustrated that there is no possible way to easily punish those who are

responsible. These terrorists are everywhere, and we can't bomb everywhere.

seems to me we have seen very little of that in quite a few years in our

leaders. Where is it going to come from now? In fact I told

recently that humans are the stupidest creatures on Earth. I think it was

just proved.

I really feel the war on terrorism should not be the traditional war so many

think of now and what we may be involved in so soon. I believe our

intelligence agencies need free hands to pursue the criminals and I am

willing to give up some personal liberties I now have to allow this. I

believe political and financial sanctions should be made on the countries

As far as I know the Oklahoma Bomber wasn't an immigrant. Terrorism

and fanatic people arent disguised as arabs or any other race. The

only resemblance they have is willing to die for their believes.

And they will use anything and anyone they can to get there moment of

glory. There only goal is destroying the symbols of freedom.

Rob, Nope, I'm afraid the Oklahoma bombers didn't intend to die for their

incredibly ignorant beliefs. That are not quite as fanatical as the

perpetrators of this heinous act. They lived to be executed. You must

remember that Bonnie lives there and sees the devastation day after day.

They flew planes into her home town!!! They killed friends and neighbors.

How would you feel if it were Amsterdam? I think being careful about who we

allow into our country would be a great short term solution.
