I am a mom of a baby with Ds and he'll be having heart surgery in less then 2 weeks. I love to read all the mail but i feel i need to leave your group. Everything is geared towards older kids and i'm having trouble dealing with things. I hope that when my son is older i'll be able to rejoin your group. Go ahead and " spill the beans " and we will sure answer, especially those with a child the age of yours. I think there is even a small group that branched out with babies. Being that I have experience in dealing with a baby having heart surgery I could offer you a bit of support. My son has had 2 heart surgeries by the time he was 1 1/2. he is doing very well now. It is a possibility that he will need another surgery in the future. He is 4yrs old now and I am so in love with him. I say he was born with a broken heart. But he has soooooo much love to give.
