Guest guest
I'd say you have to be pretty intelligent to con someone out of an Icee. LOL!!! Perhaps it's time to start giving Sara her own spending money. :^) granny --- " Setting a good example for your children takes all the fun out of middle age. Guest guest
Is your son a client (or whatever the pc term is) of MHMR in your area. They have wonderful support, respite, skills training, independent living resources, etc. You need a break, Lady. Keep us posted. granny --- " Setting a good example for your children takes all the fun out of middle age. Guest guest
, Have you tried to get him in a group home? Maybe what you need is to have him home with you on weekends and have him in his " own " place during the week. Another option would be waiver (ask your case manager). With waiver, you should be able to get him more services. Honestly, it takes a long time to get waiver and then wait for a service provider to be available. With him being 25, he needs to become less dependent on you now. I plan on putting on the waiting list for services soon. It's my hope that when he transitions out of high school, he'll be able to move out and have the support services he needs. I wonder if I will ever be able to leave home alone, too.
