He said it would make you sick to see the stuff going into the dumpsters! Perfectly good school things, like tables, yardsticks,brand new boxes of chalk etc etc... They are no longer using slate boards any longer. All of the new schools are using the dry erase boards so there is no choice as to which the kids prefer. Why couldn't this stuff be donated to a less fortunate school? Too much work involved......It's easier to just throw it away. I think my school got like $600 last year ? concidering its such a small school that wasn't bad.
