This will make you think....

Bob builds schools. Right now, he's doing a remodeling w/new wings. He said it

would make you sick to see the stuff going into the dumpsters! Perfectly good

school things, like tables, yardsticks, brand new boxes of chalk etc etc...

They are no longer using slate boards any longer. All of the new schools are

using the dry erase boards so there is no choice as to which the kids prefer.

Why couldn't this stuff be donated to a less fortunate school? Too much work

involved......It's easier to just throw it away.

target has a program if you use their cc your school recieves a donation.

the mall in roch. has these little lockers that have your schools name on

them and you can stick your mall store reciepts in them, it's call cash back

for schools i think. I think my school got like $600 last year ?

concidering its such a small school that wasn't bad. Oh and I think andrea

said that Kmart is doing a school cash back thing? not sure about that one

tho. she's willing to shop in the stores and even use the store cc but she

would like the schools to tell in their school newspaper what they're using

the money to buy, she feels the same about saving the soup labels and points

off cereal boxes. she'd just like to know what she's helping them get. hehe
