Well......maybe I can convince my mother. She is also right outside of

Tampa and was just complaining that her landscaper is no longer

reliable. Is your adoptee handsome? She still has very selective taste

when it comes to men ;-)LOLOL

(For some reason, ALL the people in her retirement community hire grass

cutters, landscapers, etc. I've never seen a single one of them with a

lawn mower!)

Hey,

I hope that Barry and any other hurricaines get out it out of their system

before we head to Florida. I really did forget that we're going in the

height of hurricaine season! One more thing to worry about. At least we

won't be too close to the coast, more in land.

We will be in Deltona and prob Tampa part of the time. If there's any one

who wants to attempt to get together with us, let me know! We will be there

from Aug 14-the 20th. So far I wont be available on the 17 -18th during that

time.

I hope Barry stays small and goes off to sea for those of you that might be

affected by the storm!

~ mom to almost 11 DS and 7

Hey I just heard on the radio that Barry is heading to Louisiana!!!! Take

cover!

Just a storm update: Barry is 60mph strong now and expected to be hurricane

strength when it hits land somewhere near Fort Walton Beach, Florida around

1:00am early Monday morning.

This is where Hodson lives (FWB) (who is the favorite grandmother

of Cody in Texas.) Please keep her in your thoughts today and any others

that live in that area from the list.

There should be a time when we parents stop worrying about our babies, but I

don't know when that is. :^) My eldest is pushing 50, very stable, few

problems, great father and I still fret about him. Such is parenthood.

Hugs,

You Florida types get beat up a lot more by these tropical storms and

hurricanes than we do! Looks as though Barry is going to beat up Louisiana

and leave us be. We've had our storm for this season, I hope. was

plenty bad enough.

Terry is right. I just checked the weather channel website and Barry seems

to have changed her mind about hitting Louisiana sometime during the night.

Typical hurricane behavior. They do love Florida. You guys be careful ...

especially fellow grandma .
