Diane,

I'm not sure what the answer is, and Ellen (the poster!) is out of town, and

since this doesn't directly related to many or any of our young adult children,

I'd suggest you followup directly with Kirk's office for further clarification.

I don't know what else to tell you but to go directly to the source. Thanks.

Subject: Medicare Cuts

I'm confused about the Medicare cuts detailed by Mark Kirk. Are they saying

that the government will pay less for MRI " S, hospice, durable medical, etc to

the providers or are they saying that the seniors will actually be charged more

for these very necessary services?

Either way sounds like a total affront to seniors and their needs as their

health declines.

Diane, Laurie and All,

My DH (darling husband, Chuck)and I were talking about this very program last

night. It does not have anything to do with our kids, per say, and the cuts

concern one Medicare program--Medicare Advantage (it does say that in Ellen's

post). It is a federally subsidized Medicare program.

Hope that clear it up. Not sure why Ellen posted it.
