Guest guest
We are thinking about downsizing, too. What we pay for taxes here in the western suburbs when our children are no longer in the public school system is obscene. At first we thought condo. Then we thought about Josh living in a condo. It's concerning. It's his meltdowns. They are unpredictable and loud. I cannot fathom a meltdown in an elevator, lobby, hallway or large garage. Some nights, his anxiety prevents him from relaxing enough to go to sleep. He quickly spirals down and it can take a couple of hours of intense support as his body and mind find balance. How do those of you who downsized into condos reconcile this? Pam Re: Fw: (NOEWAIT) STATES WITH NO WAIT LIST?? IPADDUnite Date: Wednesday, February 24, 2010, 3:33 AM Hi and everyone... No...I am not moving to Arizona...at least not anytime soon and from my perspective, hopefully, never. I have been able to convince my husband, who is the one who wants to move, that I would be extremely unhappy leaving my family, my friends and my life here. So...we have compromised. He wants to sell the house, get into a condo with less worry about maintenance and property care-taking and he would like to eventually buy a vacation home in Az...sounds like a good plan to me! I am breathing a big sigh of relief while I clean, organize and toss out 25 years of accumulated stuff... It is somewhat cathartic, but it was hard to part with all those school art projects! The house will, hopefully, be listed in about a week, if I can pull it together by then! When it will sell...who knows! Thanks for asking. Guess you are all stuck with me a while longer.
