Guest guest
WHAT does it take to get someone out of an ICF-DD into a different facility? My son seemed to be looking thin again, so I weighed him this weekend while he was home. He was 134 to 136 lbs when he went into the facility in May'08. On two of my scales he weighed 119 (with shoes off) When I took him back this evening, I reweighed him on the scale at the facility. He weighed 118 (again with shoes off). When he was 12, we had to pull him out of the school for the blind in ville. (He's always been underweight, but he was way underweight then...took 6 months to put on 30 lbs. We DON'T want this to happen again. On Sat, I met the res. at a music festival. It was about 70. He was wearing dirty sweat pants, needed shaving (I had called earlier to make sure that he shaved) (I took him back after to change his clothes & to shave before bringing him home.) I am geting better at documenting stuff. I did email the facility tonight after I returned home. I'm hoping to get in touch with the dietician....
