Guest guest
I attended the presentation by Pace re Paratransit - raising rates and cutting back on reservation time. I was the only participant, other than my daughter!!! I spoke longer than my allotted 3 minutes, but noone objected. (gotta laugh or I would scream!!!) They said the changes will probably take place in November, and that based on current budget projections there probably will be cutbacks required in the near future. The extended hours and route enhancements that were won last year could be in danger. The good news is that the study of Will County transportation is being done right now and that is the required step for future proposals for improvement. Not sure I will still be around when it finally gets approved!! Gloria
