((( BIG HUGS SUSAN )))

How are you doing now???

Much Love

Helen

Well, I'm trying to get my shit together so I can leave, but.... I'm

beginning to wonder if this is an omen- am I not supposed to go, or

am I not supposed to get back here for the wedding? Daddys dr still

hasnt called back. My sister called, said daddy doesnt want her to

leave him & go to the wedding. I teased him the other night, made him

laugh, said so you'd rather die than make it to the wedding? he said

yes.

I was going to the dr this afternoon, to get emergency meds cause I

dont know how long I will be gone, and I never did follow up.... and

I just feel awful... but my car is sitting at the high school out of

gas... and still not fixed. My husband insists that the boy fix it,

its his responsibility- and hes not supposed to drive it till he

does. But his washrag mother let him drive it to school this morning,

was supposed to bring it home at lunch. And I did entertain the

thought of having it fixed after the dr....I really cant wait for the

kid & his friends to do it. Now I have to wait for Jer to get home,

go get gas in a gas can (that the kids borrowed & never brought

back), and do some splainin. AAARG!

Sara just came home, having a meltdown. They changed her classes, put

her in with the 'smart" kids, and she hates them all....and hates her

new teachers, got into it w 2 of em....How can I leave her again?

gotta go. Love,

Well, I had my little whine online recently about the dearth of services in my

area, etc. It was therapeutic for me to do this, and actually very productive

in the end for me.

Two people that I have known for many years, but with whom I haven't had much

contact for quite a while contacted me offline after my rant, and offered much

needed support and information. So, thank you all for allowing the blowing off

of steam, and thanks ever so much to Ann and for contacting me.

Things will certainly never be easy, of course, but there is more happening in

Champaign/Urbana than I imagined, and I think the job ahead may begin to look

more doable now that I have more information.

Also, thank you to Marie for our fun offline conversation about our intersecting

lives in Champaign/Urbana.

I'm glad I stepped over the line between IPADD lurker and participator.
