Guest guest
Thanks to everyone who is getting the word out about the strong-armed efforts to unionize Home-Based Service Personal Support Workers. My phone has been ringing this morning with calls from moms who are worried and angry about the union reps who keep showing up at their doors and the doors of their PSWs . You can help. FIRST and MOST IMPORTANTLY: RETURN YOUR BALLOT WITH NO UNION REPRESENTATION CHECKED. A Tribune reporter is gathering information about our story. Please take a minute and call or email Black, Tribune reporter. Black lblack@... 847/918-2810 The National Right to Work Legal Defense Foundation is closely looking at this effort to unionize us and may consider this case as litigious. Please take a minute to email attorney, Bill Messenger and tell him your story. Bill is especially interested in hearing about the efforts of SEIU and AFSCME to get your signature. wlm@... On a personal note, I want to publically applaud and thank both The Family Support Network and the Arc of Illinois for finding our letter to Governor Quinn important enough to share via their email databases. From the beginning, getting all the information out to families has been my focus. Pam
