Hi Again!

I am having a difficult time figuring out what supplementation is most

appropriate given my son's PERSONAL problems here!!!!! #1- He eats next to

NOTHING and doesn't swallow pills or even allow me to give him a liquid

directly. #2 - while waiting to begin DMSA , I've been working on bringing

down EXTREMELY high copper and aluminum. I have only been giving him 30mg

zinc 1-2X day, 3 ml liquid milk thistle,

600mg Vit C (liquid)2-3X day, and 300mg magnesium. This is all I've been

able to get into him so far. The liquid E and liquid B-complex were

completely rejected (not good for a child who sniffs everything before

touching!) Should any of these be increased or decreased? The zinc and

magnesium were extremely deficient on his hair analysis (also iodine).

My BIG question is this...how many of the following things can be given

transdermally?:

Liquid E

Liquid B-complex

Borage Oil

EPA/DHA

I'm thinking that until the compounding pharmacist can help me out on

this...maybe this would be a good way to go???? Thoughts anyone? (I know,

he'll STINK, right?)

Andy: He is having a baby tooth with a cap on it removed on the

24th...anything I need to do before/after to help with this removal?

I don't know what I'd do without you all!

Wish we could inject it at times heh? (maybe some of it can, and hopefully

without a preservative ca ca in it). Myers cocktail, do that on a search,

read it and tell me what you think?

Thanks Lyn...I guess I'm just going to have to get tough on this one!!! It's

just that any time I've tried this, it really looked like a scene from the

exorcist!!! Screaming, gargling noises, me " sitting " on him and of

course...him spitting it all back out. The head never spun around...but I

was watching closely just in case!

,

This may sound cruel, but before Will could swallow pills I mixed up a

slurry of his supplements, sometimes up to 30cc of liquid, and used a

syringe to squirt them down. I always had a glass of juice to drink

afterwards. It was hard to do the first week or two, but he got used to it

fairly quickly. As a treat afterwards I would give him a chewable Vita C,

which he thought was a sweet tart.

Yes, Ive been there too. Imagine my shock when one day, out of curiosity I

handed Will a pill and said " here, swallow this " and he did! I guess he

knew one way or another I would get it down him. Hang in there!

I am just gearing up to begin DMSA. (we have confirmation of mercury at

least in his small intestine; this is just after finally ridding him of

cadmium then aluminum)

Is this post saying that DMSA capsules can be broken into and administered

in our concoction (his supplements, powdered, then syringed into his mouth

w/ juice)?

This sounds doable, as I'm afraid the swallowing of pills is out right now

and the suppository.....well, the syringed juice sounds like less of a

fight.

Thanks for any insight

How did you confirm mercury in his small intestine? I did the succimer,

since it was small pellets, in a tsp. of yogurt mixed up and had him swallow

it whole. I don't see why you cannot open the capsule and dump in something

with the DMSA. Amy, does that impact the sustained release quality? I know

the compounding Rx. are also working on a sustained release supp. as well.

Lyn,

The capsule is part of the time-release mechanism, so you are

not supposed to open up a time-release capsule. But if the DMSA

is the regular kind, like brand name Chemet, you can certainly

open it up and put it in something. It really smells bad.
