Who to Boil in Water and Who to Hold Their Feet to the Fire

Okay, I'll admit I'd like to boil 'em all (there I go with term limits again),

but who besides Madigan should we hold accountable for slinking out of

Springfield like rats leaving a sinking ship without taking any meaningful

position on the budget?

Sadly, WE can't toss off OUR responsibilities as easy as those esteemed senators

and representatives can. Damn what a bunch of useless individuals they nearly

all are!

Ahhhh to be living elsewhere, but that's just what they'd like. I really feel

sad for Luke and you younger parents.

Ron (feeling down --- obviously once again --- but the sun will rise tomorrow

and I may too. Besides my 106 YO friend says I'm a " kid " . BTW, she wanted me to

give her the Tribune to read beause the little local paper didn't have any

" real " news .... and she's an Obama fan ---- such a lady! Ahhhhh ,but I fixed

her TV so she can now what/listen to the news even though she was reading the

paper on her own)

Well Ellen, I'm not sure how " fresh " my air is, but here's the latest impact on

what the ignorant state legislators' failure to do their job has led to in our

home. We're faced with (1) a TERRIBLE option that would reduce Luke's program

hours by 18% and require that he travel about 3-4 miles and change cars (which

could be disruptive to him as it might be to many with severe autism); (2)

taking one or two hours out of my day to drive him to his program; or (3) giving

his wonderful aide $$$ to pay for transporting him in her car. (BTW, I was NOT

being facicious about his aide being " wonderful " . She truly is! But I'll be

damed if I will have her pick up her cost of driving in her own car.

Sure is a cool and advanced state we live in, huh?! Hey, maybe madigan (they

really don't deserve to have their names capitalized), quinn, burzynski, or

pritchard will take Luke to his program or pick up the cost. Nawwww, they're too

concerned about getting re-elected.
