Your generosity this past year has been very much appreciated. This has been a year of difficult times with all the struggles to fund critical services for people with disabilities in Illinois. We need your help for The Arc to continue to work to make sure the services for people with disabilities are kept visibly important to the Legislature. The Arc of Illinois is the leader in Illinois advocacy and aggressive legislative work on behalf of all children and adults with disabilities. Your donations will also help to insure the continuation of the information and referral resource services from Illinois Life Span and the Family to Family Health Information Center as well as Family Support Network. We need your help so we can continue to help you with school, housing, employment, respite and all the needs you and your family face every day. Your tax-deductible donation of $25, $50, $100 or more will have a positive impact on the lives of people with disabilities. Please consider The Arc of Illinois in your giving this year. It is easy to make a donation at The Arc of Illinois website through the following link: https://www.thearcofil.org/make-a-donation. You could also mail your donation to The Arc of Illinois, 20901 S. We’d like to take this opportunity to say THANK YOU to all of our friends and supporters Each time you make a donation, volunteer your time and share your story and do all of the things you do to support our work, you are promoting a community where the Rights of Children are respected and taken care off. These are some of the things that our friends/partner/Volunteer have said about PALUOC Concept of Empowerment of orphans and Children affected by HIV/AIDS in Kisumu City, Kenya: "For anyone working with communities around the world where they have technical or refurbished tools which they can share with children and vulnerable youths, PALUOC a community Cased organization in Kenya have set up a Vocational Technical and Entrepreneurship Empowerment Centre for OVCS. You can donate such tools as a Christmas gift to these needy children." – Achola (Trainer PALUOC Carpentry and Joinery Training Department) "We have very good books which I am not using now, but when I visited PALUOC in 2010, I realized that those books can still be useful in their training centre especially in their Library and as reference materials – Kate (London, UK) "PALUOC concept of empowering the orphans with practical vocational skills is a practical and realistic way of empowering needy children in Africa. This project deserve to get adequate support from individuals, churches, corporate organizations and other well wishes" – Jeff (Netherlands) "Gold mine of a community empowerment for anyone HIV orphaned Child is empowerment with vocational skills which are entrepreneurial Inea (PALUOC Orphan Child who is a beneficiary) ..As the year comes to an end, I want to appreciate you for the constructive information, feedback which I have received. Maybe I did not respond to all the information which I received from you, I want to let you know that the information have been very valuable in my work and I do not take any information which I receive for granted. I also want to let you know that in the soonest time possible I will be sharing with you some of the plans which I have for 2012.
