Imani Children Home is home to almost 400 children in 6 different locations; Kayole A Soweto, Kayole B Matopeni, Malindi, Ngong, Kasarani and Kibera. They have been hiking at Ngong Hills for the past several years and early this year, Kitty asked the Home if they could do something to help clean Ngong Hills of the rubbish that we deposit there. She also asked if they as children could help in planting 1,500 trees on the Hill. It was at this point that Imani Children Home invited KCDN to partner with them. Now, through this partnership, we are happy to report progress made so far. We have had discussions with the area DC Ngong, DO 1 Ngong, the Director of Kenya Forestry Services and his senior officers and the District Environmental Committee Kajiado North District.
