Guest guest
Geeetings to all forum members 16th October is World Food day. since my move to the rural after the Post Election problems in Kenya ihave had the chance to see with my own eyes the problems that poeple face in the villages. But i decided not to keep mum about this in March last year through this forum i raised some money for the seeds. I gave these seeds to the youths who were blocking the roads during the war and now we have very good results as follows: These 4 groups of youths grew the seeds and sold them and bought 6 goats and four have given birth already 2 The four groups have registered with the government and two groups have received government funds for the youths 3 two groups have grown onions this year and have harvested them yielding about 15000 worth of onions. As we go to World Food Day iam looning for more seeds to be given out since i don't want to give them money. I would like to send a few photos of the Onions the has been harvested. Just to see more just serch in the website www.worldfoodday2009 and see more. For more information feel free to contct me at tomokeyo@...
