Guest guest
Folks A heated debated recently at the BBC website. Your comments? Chifu Are African men using condoms? Is low condom use a real factor in the growing HIV/Aids pandemic? A new type of condom is on sale in South Africa. Pronto condom designer Willem van Rensburg told the BBC it takes only a second to put on. Mr Van Rensburg hopes it will encourage more people to use condoms in a country where 5.5m people have HIV - one of the world's highest figures. Do you use a condom when you have sex? If not, why not? Are they readily available where you live? Do you feel free to talk about condoms with your partner? *********************************** All these 'Moralistic' comments seem to come right out of another planet. In a country like Nigeria where vast numbers of married men have multiple women partners and more married men cheat than those that dont some people expect a religious solution to such a problem. If humans were to completely follow religious solutions there would also be no crime, violence, disrespect, murder, CORRUPTION, Materialism, stealing etc. We need to start beign practical and stop this Nigerian Hypocrisy Ken Recommended by 0 people Added: Thursday, 9 November, 2006, 17:20 GMT 17:20 UK African men use condoms like any other group of people. This question is a bit biased, all men regardless of their ethnic back ground have to use condoms if they are to evade HIV/AIDS. The majority of African men use condoms excerpt a few who do not believe that HIV/AIDS exists. What the world is doing is that we are going in circles, again we do not want to tell the truth. Please allow me to ask a question; " where did HIV/AIDS started? " Was it started with an African men? no. Why suspicion?
