Dear Chifu - I am very sorry that you are ill. Is there anything I could do

from Boston to help?

I will certainly pray for you!

I'm starting chemotherapy in Boston tomorrow morning for AIDS lymphoma

cancer -- six 21-day cycles of treatment with 5 strong drugs. My team of

doctors says there's a good chance they can cure the lymphoma cancer by end

of November...but the AIDS is a different story, of course. It may sound

worse than it probably will be....I've been living successfully with HIV for

over 20 years so I have no intention of letting a little AIDS lymphoma

cancer knock me down and I feel very optimistic....but only God knows what

will happen and I'm willing to deal with it one day at a time!

I have appreciated all that I have learned on this Kenya Aids list; and hope

that I in turn have made some small valuable comment from time to time. I

certainly hope the Kenya AIDS list will continue.

So - I'd appreciate any prayers that any list members would also be willing

to say for me.

(smile)
