Greetings to you all

Over the weekend I went to the rice field in lower

Nyakach and found very young children in field, as I

interviewed them I found out the following captivating

stories and I left the farm with a heavy heart and

mind wondering how these two boys could go to school

15 Years

He went to form one for one month paid ksh.1000 and

was sent home for fees.

He never found fees.

He resorted to be employed in chasing birds in the

rice field.

His problem – i.e. is born in a family of 14 children.

His parents are not employed.

His other elder brothers & sisters have all dropped

out of school. He doesn’t want to drop out of school.

He wants to raise 3000 shillings by February to go

back to school.

Silas 14 Years,

He lost all his parents to HIV/AIDS seven years ago.

He is living under his elder brother who is unemployed

but does some odd jobs to help feed them. He went to

school for one week but dropped since there was no

fee.

He is employed in the rice field to raise money to go

back to school by February 2007

These are the solutions I am proposing to the members

if they can help the boys to go to school come

February 2007 They will need 400 US $ per year for

four years.

I am having the burden to see these two boys go back

to school come February 2007

I propose these ideas to help them go back to school

Let us pray God will touch others to give their

resources to help these two boys go to school.

Take time to tell others about this situation to see

if they may come
