Guest guest
Many of us are Internet junkies and we are responsible for the spread of information over the Internet. However, the honor of being bestowed as Time's Person of the Year and sharing it with several billion people seems to discredit the value of the award to past recipients. Hey, hi Bush, yeah, you may have been Time's Man of the Year a few years back, but I'm Time's choice this year. I had always envisioned a boardroom full of 20 of the most brilliant minds debating who should be Time's Person of the Year and to think all that brainpower could not come up with a better choice than me, I guess I just don't get it. There were women this year who are now Presidential contenders and for the first time ever we have a woman Speaker of the House. Then of course there is Hillary, a polarizing figure if ever there was one who is poised to become a Presidential candidate unless Barack Obama can bring America together like no Democrat or Republican can. Well, at least it will be highly unlikely for Time to do a repeat of the Person of the Year for next year and those 20 brilliant people will have to really come up with a real person of the year next year.
