World AIDS Marathon organizer has a question

Dear friends,

Jazz for Peace, http://www.jazzforpeace.org/, wants to do a benefit concert for the M. Brodsky Foundation. Tickets would cost $25 per ticket and there would be a $5 - $10 minimum cover for food and / or drink. The date would be Friday, November 3rd, probably 6:30 or 7:00 PM, the weekend of the NYC Marathon. My problem is I would need to sell 50 tickets by August 28th. Could I count on you to purchase any tickets? The loction would be Manhattan, a place to be determined. It would be great to see as many well-wishers for my running the NYC Marathon that weekend. There will also be a silent auction of some really neat things; my favorite is a giraffe from Kenya and there is also some wonderful artwork.
