Guest guest
Hi, I have used the Budwig ideas as much as I knew how and could do from early summer of 1991 until the present time. I used some standard treatment as well for Prostate Cancer. That lasted for 4 years and 7 months. I have muddled along and learned and been disappointed and learned some more. That is about 12 years and 7 months. I do not believe I would be here today without the flaxseed oil and cottage cheese. Cliff

Guest guest
Hello Pat: I see that you ordered Dr.Budwig's Cookbook, which is very interesting and useful. I believe you should have, if you go on her regimen, her book " Flax Oil as a True Aid Against Arthritis, Heart Infacrtion, Cancer, and Other Diseases " . You should read ( study) this book so you will understand how and WHY !, her regimen with flax oil and cottage cheese contributes to body's regeneration. Amazon should have that book too. I have mentioned this on this group before, but I want to tell you, if you didn't see it. I had read Dr.Budwig's book a few years ago, and put it down because I do have had an allergy to the milk protien for years, which causes the build up of mucous in the respiratory tract. The only answer is to stop drinking milk and stop eating milk products. People with the protien allergy would probably think that they have continous cold symptoms. The other milk allergy is lactose intolerance, which is an allergy to lactose - milk sugar in the milk. With this you will get digestive, and bowel problems, which can be rather severe, and I believe it is more common. You can buy milk with the enzyme lactase in it to help digest the lactose in the milk, and this will help to alleviate your problem with milk. Apparently it works well. Lactase treated milk, and lactase tablets, are available in the stores. As you say, you have a milk allergy, but you don't say which one it is. I began, again, in the past year, reading her book about flax oil and cottage cheese for heart, arthritis, cancer, etc and I became convinced it is a great nutritional addition even if one doesn't have any of those named problems. So I started on it, after not having had a drink of milk for 60 years and eating very sparingly of cheese of any kind or yogurt. Butter and whipping cream are ok because they are a butter fat. However, one must be a little careful and not overdue on either one, as they each conrtain a little residue of milk. Whipping cream is only, up here, 33% butter fat -- imagine they have to add a thinkening agent to help it to whip ! After being on FO & CC for several months I find no porblem with generating mucus, and I am getting along just fine. Our breakfast is the FO & CC mix, and some freshly ground flax on the side (use only freshly ground flax !) and a chaser of a small bowel of mixed fruit, fresh and frozen. Dr.Budwig oks the fruit with it. In your case Pat, if it lactose intolerance, your savior would be the lactase treated cottage cheese, which you can add yourself, or take the enzyme with the meal. You would have to determine that you get enough lactase - of course, if you don't, you will soon know !! I should add here that I put a portion of cottage cheese in a little strainer and wash out any liquid in the container, so that I will have just the cottage cheese solids. I can even get by with feta cheese in Greek Salad, now. I just want to make it clear here now Pat, that I am prescribing, or telling you that you should go on Dr. Budwig's regimen of FO and CC. Do some more resaerch, and give it some thought to convince yourself, one way or the other. I just wanted to tell you that after I started on it, I found I had no more problem with my milk allergy. This may not work for someone else, it is true, because we could have different tolerance levels. I felt safe in experimenting on myself because I do not believe my allergy is life threatening, unless the condition was prolonged for some time, I suppose. Best wishes for your good health. Guest guest
Hi Pat: For your own info you should look up the info on " Candida and Dysbiosis " . I feel we have a right and a responsibility to know what is going on in our body. All the best, Re: Started my non-toxic therapy treatment > > > > > My problem is that I tested positive for milk allergies so dairy is > off my list of foods to consume.
