For cancer patients, it's important to use an enzyme w/ample chymotrypsin.

Unfortunately Inflazyme Forte and the other healthfood store brands have little

chymotrypsin.

My understanding is that the publically available enzyme most similar to

's is Pork Pancreas by Allergy Research

(877-259-3393/800-545-9960/210-658-5562/bevweavtx@... ). If I had cancer I'd

use this enzyme or (if I could afford it) Kelley's enzymes.

Wobe Mugos (aka Wobenzyme E) would probably be my next choice.

Hi Leonard:

I am not selling any particular product, but I use Infla-Zyme Forte, and I

see that it has, as well as 120 mg of trypsin, 2.5 mg of chymotrypsin, with

2500 units of chymotrypsin activity. I would be interested in a better

product if yours is a better product. Can you give me the chymotrypsin

content of your Wobe-Mugos, and the number of units of chymotrypsin

activity? I used to buy Wobenzyme for supplemental nutrition, directly from

Germany.

Hi ,

From: Boswell <eboswell@...>

> I am not selling any particular product, but I use Infla-Zyme Forte

I've heard it's 1 of the best enzyme products available at health food stores.

> I would be interested in a better product if yours is a better product.

I'm not affiliated w/any product either.

> Can you give me the chymotrypsin content of...Wobe-Mugos

I think it (and the other products I mentioned) have approximately equal amounts

of trypsin and chymotrypsin (i.e., much more chymotrypsin than any product at

health food stores).

> I used to buy Wobenzyme for supplemental nutrition, directly from Germany

Do you know how to order it directly from Germany? (I don't)

I think Pork Pancreas from Allergy Research is better and cheaper (and contains

a lot of chymotrypsin).

I wrote to Allergy Research Group asking the following:

In your product Organic Glandular Pancreas, Pork (item numbers

71640 & 71650), how much trypsin and how much chymotrypsin are

contained in each 425 mg. capsule?

How does this product compare to the Pork Glandular Pancreas product

distributed to Dr. 's patients?

Their reply follows:

Thank you for your inquiry. We do not have an analysis of the enzyme

content of our Organic Glandular Pancreas products. Dr. Levine here

at ARG told me that Dr. used to buy our Organic Glandular

Pancreas, and now has created his own product, but he still uses the

same source as we do.
