Guest guest
I avoid all these problems by making my own from farm-fresh raw milk that i buy from a local farm family. They use no pesticides. I currently use grocery store butter milk to start the culture, but will purchase starter soon. It's pretty easy to make, and you can find past discussions and directions in the archives. Guest guest
Hi, I will add a bit to this. A company in Arizona, Nature's Distributors, 1 800 624 7114, sells a product they call Companion Nutrients. We have seen it work quite well. My wife uses it at one capsule per tablespoon of oil before meals so the contents of the capsule mix with the Omega 3 before being diluted with other food. This is my idea. I don't know how much it matters. The capsules have 100 mgs of methionine in them which is the source of sulfur based proteins. When I use them I also add a heaping teaspoon of dried skim milk powder to beef up the sulfur based proteins a little. Also, one might suggest this person try lactase with the dairy products and see whether that makes a difference. Cliff Alternatives to Budwig Hi All, I'm sure this might have been asked in the past, but do any of you have any ideas about alternatives to the Budwig diet for someone, who is lactose intolerant? I have a family member who has just been diagnosed w/ prostate cancer. My first thought was to suggest the fo/cc..but he's lactose intolerant...Thanks.
