Hi, I somehow missed the " hate " part. I found the information to be informative and very helpful. Anger at something real can be a positive thing. If one can impliment change it is very positive and empowering for every cell in the body. Without speaking up and trying to bring positive change about, how can we move forward? This list and others like it are empowering to each and every human being that takes the time to read and listen. Sometimes, however, it is not enough to sit back and absorb...sometimes it is one's duty to work for a better world for mankind. Have a great day! Guest guest
Hello Ohmmmmmmmmmm Ohmmmmmmm Ohmmmmmmm Ohmmmmmm How's that? I have also read Herman Hesse. Listen carefully, because I can be passionate about something in print , it does not mean that I am sitting here stewing about it or even thinking about it most of the day. However, if you do not show any passion in your writing then very few people are going to believe that you believe in what the hell you are even writing about. I have had many people over the years tell me to shut up or otherwise hold my tongue or not to rock the boat or make too much noise. Or, that it's bad for me to ''resist'' those forces and that I should give in or just give up. All I can say to you is that I am not a passive person like yourself who takes things lying down. If everyone took the attitude you are suggesting that I take then we would all be nothing more than sheep to be shorn or cattle to be slaughtered. Which unfortunately most people are. I am very, very familiar with Dana Farber and what they do and how they do it. When they say they are at the ''cutting edge'' they mean it in more ways than one, Their most famous statement in their literature is ''we want to have a lifelong relationship with you''. Interesting, because it gets behind the psychology of where they are really coming from and what they really have in mind. About once every 3 or 4 months we are treated to some pronouncement from the Harvard boys and girls or from Sloan Kettering about some new blockbuster ''drug'' that will soon (but never ever materializes) be there to save us if we only ''wait'' and not run away from allopathic medicine. Unfortunately a lot of men and women have died prematurely listening to those lies. At the support groups about once every couple of months they trot out some doctor from somewhere in full costume , white lab coat and stethoscope around his neck, to tell us not to despair , that the magic beans will be here someday if we only sit tight and wait. If we don't lose ''faith'' in them and ''believe'' in them and ''stay'' with the program. Sounds more like the beginnings of a religion than medicine to me. I think is was Mark Twain who once said '' who is an expert (medical) anyway except some guy from out of town''. I already have a faith and the children of Harvard are pretty poor substitutes in my opinion. I'm passionate about this because we have been conned into believing that they are actually looking for solutions to our problem when in reality they are actively seeking to find more drugs to ''manage'' symptoms. Well, enough of that we have already covered this ground before. I am happy for you that you have found so much peace and harmony in your life but you must understand that we all cannot, will not or simply do not want to think the same way you think. I did appreciate your very long and labored essay on your journey through the medical system. It took me a very , very long time to read and since you are giving me some advice, here is some for you. In the future, if you want to hold the attention of your audience it would do well to be somewhat brief and summarize rather than getting into every minute detail of every fact you run across. I could see that you had something important to get across but I almost gave up many times and just said to hell with it. Unfortunately many others may have already done so without reading and that is unfortunate. You need to learn to condense information so as not to lose the attention of your readers. Although the information you imparted in that long, long post was very important (I even copied it to my disk for later reading) it was very difficult to read. All those minute details may seem very important to you because they are part of your life but to the rest of us it's like a couple of old geezers or old hens tadeing information on their illnesses and surgeries like battle scars. Now how is that, from one critic to another? Best regards to you and thank you for that mini-novel > > > Hey Bob, > > > > > > You taking over this group or what???????????
