<< > What brand of Lipoic acid is everyone using? >>

The Vitamin Shoppe, 100 mg (for me), Twinlabs, 50 mg (for my girlfriend),

and soon probably pulled apart twinlabs caps for her kid.

Yes.

Jon is GFCF, corn free, yeast free. He's also highly allergic to cucumbers

...thank god he's never had one.

Corn is the pain in the butt.....Corn syrup is in almost everything.

Hi,

The Nature's Biotics looks interesting and I have done some reading about it,

think it sounds good but I've been using a private label product developed by

Bruce Tainio. http://www.tainio.com/ He does soil remediation, toxic spills,

etc and has a line of products for plants that I would recommend thoroughly. I

have crazy experiences with his soil microbial product, Biogenesis - bringing

nearly dead trees back to life, as well as my nearly dead cat and the wild

critters dig up the stuff and eat it if I don't put a rock over where I dig it

in..

He turned Biogenesis into one meant for human use. The distributor I use calls

it Biobase. The two products are mostly the same, beneficial microbes cultured

individually, dried, coated, then combined. The one for human use is produced

to higher standards and meets FDA standards for human consumption. It's not a

MLM, my favorite distributor is - http://www.a1solutions.com/ . We got a

significant improvement in gut and neurological issues, not as good as going

gluten-free, but my son is celiac as well as whatever the other gut issues that

go on with autism. I recommend it highly for adults, plants and critters. It's

harder to recommend anything for kids, they're all so different. Try it on

yourself and your critters. It's $35 for 1/4 pound, human product, and about

half that for agricultural product.

The human gut is a bit like the root system of a plant. It needs good bacteria

to function and they will outcompete pathogenic ones. That's one reason plants

are so susceptible to disease these days. Many of the pesticides kill off the

needed bacteria that digest organic and inorganic matter, secrete enzymes and

generally feed the plant.
