Guest guest
Hi Diane, I don't have time now but will post some combinations later. Since I am new to juicing, they are will probably be well known to those who have been at it awhile. One thing I tried that was really bad was Mango & Orange juice. Mango by itself is great but I don't know too many things that would mix with it. I have not tried an all green juice yet but did beets, beet greens & carrot this morning. It was a little strong, good thing I like beets LOL. I have read both pro & con about grapefruit so for now I am avoiding it. One of Dr Schutze's liver gallbladder flushes says mix 8 oz of orange or a combination 1 lemon or lime, grapefruit or tangerine to make 8 oz. In the winter use apple and/or grape and combine either of these with 8 oz distilled water, 1-5 garlic cloves (starting with 1), 1-5 tbsp. of organic virgin cold pressed olive oil (start with 1 tbsp.), 1" piece of ginger root. It's zesty LOL Now I have something really surprising happening near me. I live on land that was cleared 4 years ago and today while walking which I have done for 4 years I noticed a lot of natural chive or wild onion suddenly growing. This natural onion had not been here before and I am talking acres of it. It is not something I would have missed as I like to point out to my children what the various plants and trees are since we have wild sumac & poison ivy also in the area plus a wide variety of oaks, mock hickory, black walnut, redbud, dogwood, sassafras, blackberry & muscadine grapes all growing wild. The deer's usually get the sassafras before they get to big. Maybe god will let them flourish this year. Anyway I have to believe that god had left these wild onions for me to add to my juicer. I also have a parsley plant that wants to be a bush no matter how many times I have hit it with the weed whacker LOL. A friend just told me too much parsley will put you on the toilet so use sparingly :-) Eileen Re: Juicers We have a Greenlife & like it, although it is ourfirst juicer and we have nothing to compare it to. Wewould really like some ideas of what to juice besidescarrots.--- dianna rawleigh <dianna@...>wrote:> YES i use the greenlife every day --really love it.> -di> > on 12/17/01 9:29 AM, jab44419@... at> jab44419@... wrote:> > > Group> > I have a Greenlife and love it. Guest guest
I usually just use spinach, cilantro, cucumber, celery, beets, and carrots. it's makes a delicious blend, and helps to clean you out, gives you good nutrition. It doesn't taste really strong of carrots, or the greens. I had a recipy book from the juiceman that had recipies for all sorts of ailments, that's were I got that recipy from. But I lent my book out and as usual it never found it's way back to me. Is'nt it odd how many people can't figure out the difference between lend and give, when it comes to simple things like books. Does any have any juice recipies for the various types of cancer? Klaus
Guest guest
KLAUS... Hi ..it's me Judy. I just got home tonight from getting cancer treatment at a clinic in Ga. I'm doing the dendritic cell vaccine and some other stuff. The clinic is run by Dr. Rhett Bergerone who I liked a lot. Wonderful guy!!! Now it's time to get back to my juicing full time.My husband copied Lorraine Days tape and I'll put it in the mail to you in the next day or so. I think you'll find it inspiring. Till then..she says drink 8 glasses of carrot juice and four glasses of green juice per day with 8-10 glasses of water inbetween. The juice books I've read list Kale,Collards, broccli, broccli sprouts, celery,Asparagus, beets as some of the more important veggies. Red grapes as the best fruit. Carrots are King I guess. Anyhow sorry I got sidetracked around sending the tape to you.I wish you the best Judy Re: Re: I agree we need more juice recipies > I usually just use spinach, cilantro, cucumber, celery, beets, and carrots. > it's makes a delicious blend, and helps to clean you out, gives you good > nutrition. Guest guest
Hi ... Yes I went to the clinic in Ga. and was very happy with the dr. there. His name is Rhett Bergeron. Terriffic guy. I was at the clinic getting a vaccine, hyperthermia, lots of vitamin C,hydrogen peroxide infusions, Iscadore, etc.I was there for 2 and a half weeks. The protocol is 12 weeks with the 3 intensive there at the clinic and 9 at home of a less intensive nature. I am also doing juicing(following the Lorraine Day program) and am feeling very hopeful. Of course I am still doing my flax seed oil and cottage cheese. I am taking a ton of supplements. Anyhow....I'm hoping all this will make me healthy as a horse and get rid of this cancer once and for all!!! Judy Hoffman Re: I agree we need more juice recipies > Welcome back Judy. Guest guest
Hi Judy, Thanks for filling us in on your clinic experience. It sounds like it is a very comprehensive program. I am wondering...did the hydrogen peroxide infusions have any unpleasant side effects (like nausea?). Was it " local " hyperthermia or whole body? I have read about Iscadore, but other than Suzanne Sommers haven't heard people that have used it comment on it...do you have any impressions about Iscadore you'd like to pass on to sister breast cancer survivors? One more question...does the clinic have a website? Oh I lied, I have yet one more question...how did you happen to select this particular clinic for your treatment? Thanks Judy, > Hi ... Guest guest
Hi ....no the hydrogen peroxide infusions were fine...nothing caused me any problems. The hyperthermia was local and I did get a rash over the area but I think it was the techqnique of the woman that administered it that particular day as it was a hands on deal that she had to run this wand thing over the area and she did it a lot slower that the other people and I got a burn like on my skin.It went away in a week, no big deal. three years ago when I had a recurrance in the same area I was on a vaccine for a year and Dr. Bergeron was the Dr. at that clinic. He now has his own. He's a terrific person and really cares about his patients. I was going to go to the Aidan clinic in Phoenix but Atlanta is closer and the programs are very similar. Hope this answers your questions. PS if that woman you talked to on the phone wouldn't mind I sure would love to talk to her...let me know Re: I agree we need more juice recipies > Hi Judy, > > Thanks for filling us in on your clinic experience.
